I love how versaitle this speaker is, I orginally bought it for our spare bedroom but love taking t it out to use by the pool and when I work in the garden. It's light and was inexpensive so I just move it around with me, since earbuds always get in the way.
This is a great little unit. I am very impressed.
This is one of the best ipod/iphone speakers I have heard. For the price you can't beat it. Its obviously not as good as the much higher priced 200+ units, but it is very good. Lightweight and portable, battery operation is available as well allowing you to take it with you anywhere. And the functions on the remote work well too.
My daughters both received the i pod touch for Christmas and they were charging them on the computer. They decided to look for docking stations and found this one at a very reasonable price compared to any other stores. They each purchased one. When we got them set up one didn't work. All the functions require the remote. The remote wasn't working on one and we changed the battery with the working one to no effect. Walmart return policy was hasslefree. The only downside is that it is an online only item so my daughter had to wait for a new one to come. With site to store delivery it cost her no extra money and was very quick. The new one works as it should with no problems. You cannot beat the price for the docking station, alarm clock, and speaker features. There are more expensive ones that are probably more complex, but for an eleven and thirteen year old this is perfect.
This is a good speaker for your ipod or MP3 player. It beats the little speaker that comes on the ipod. The remote can be tricky to work until you figure it out. Some don't like the 24hour clock. I don't mind, I understand it and helps my kids learn to tell that time as well. After noon, just subtract 12 from the time and that gives you the correct time. I've actually contemplated buying a 2nd for the office.
Makes a very nice gift, but is not user friendly. Speakers offer a nice sound. Clock is on military time, only, which is a great learning tool for kids. The alarm clock makes a nice and loud buzz. Instructions to the Imusic portable could have been a little more specific because we're still trying to figure things out about setting the clock, setting the alarm to play music instead of buzzing, and etc. Overall: nice sound, nice look, cute remote control, bad instructions.
Speaker broken (internal problem) and volumn buttons do not work as well. I will be sending item back when I get a chance. I do not recommend this item.
purchased this for christmas 2010, opened it on the 25th, and this morning, the 29th, 4days later, it is completely unresponsive and wont turn on! really dissapointing! warning to anyone who may purchase this or has already purchased this~KEEP YOUR PACKAGING!! cant find our box for this, thinks it may have gotten thrown away in the christmas wrapping mess, which may complicate my returning this item....I WOULD DEFINATELY NOT RECCOMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE!!
