This Hardcase surprises me every time I pick up my new MacBook Pro (which obviously is protected by it). Firstly, it looks amazing and really lifts up the MacBook design. Secondly, it makes my MacBook less slippy and gives more grip. Thirdly, the Hardcase lifts up the MacBook, thanks to the small rubber feet underneath, which increases airflow and prevents unnecessary scratches.
This is what I've been hoping for. I hadn't been able to find a case for the Macbook Pro 15 inch-Touch Bar anywhere. I got one from Speck because they were great on my 2009 Macbook Pro, but the one for this model was terrible. Too much give and space, didn't fit correctly, etc. This case is perfect. Great color, fits like a glove but doesn't take away from the laptop's sleek advantageous shape. Also the slight dot-texture gives a little more grip. Definitely buy this.
I actually bought my first case at Apple and it started chipping and cracking within 3 months of purchasing. However, thanks to Incase's wonderful customer service, I sent them photos of my damaged case and they sent me a new one via mail. Thanks incase!
I really like this case - the construction is solid and the color I got matches what I saw on the website, and the overall quality is definitely up to Incase's normal standard - but I'm not happy with how difficult it is to get the bottom case on. Even following the instructional video provided by Incase, it seems to involve an excessive amount of shoving on my brand-new machine, and after it was applied (and appeared to be completely "clicked on" - no gaps), it only took a few days of light use before the bottom case popped off again. It concerns me that the case might not protect my laptop should it get knocked off a desk, since it seems to be dislodged so easily - though I have no actual evidence that this is the case. Overall, it's a good enough case, and it would be perfect if it was easier to put on and would stay on.
I LOVE the way this case looks and feels, however, it cracks on the corners and pieces fall off within a few days of using it. I even keep my laptop in a Thule laptop sleeve that is very protective, therefore, the cracks just occur due to the design of the case. I initially exchanged my case and was very happy with how quickly customer service worked to replace it free of charge, however, my second case did the exact same thing and now it has gotten worse. Pieces fall off and scratch my laptop corners. This case is not worth the cost... hopefully they improve the 15" case design. I would buy this case over and over if these issues were solved!
This case fits perfect and I like the textured surface. Problem is the clips that hold it on in the front. They are small but raised just enough to always be felt and the edges are sharp. When I am typing on the computer they really start to annoy my wrists. Also, when I am using the trackpad I will scrape my wrist on the right one which has become extremely annoying. I would give it five stars if they could buff those clips on the font down or simply move them more midline so my wrists didn't rub against them all the time. I use an external mouse more often because of it now. I almost returned it because of this but have already tried the Speck case and that one was terrible.
I love my case! The only thing that I have found, is that especially around the corners it seems to crack and chip off. There are many cracks on the bottom half of the case and pieces have broken off. These pieces that broke off were on the corners so now the case does not fit properly, I am looking into buying just the bottom half again because the case is doing more harm than good to me at this point. The top part is perfectly fine and keeps my laptop nice and protected!
I bought this product from and authorized retailer in Egypt. Unfortunately edges cracked with no reason in less than 2 months don't know why although I am using an incase bag and put the laptop always there
I had an amazing Incase backpack that lasted for years so I was confident in the quality of this brand. So last holiday, I asked for a new backpack and laptop case as I purchase a new MacBook and I've been nothing but disappointed since. The color of this case is lovely (got the light blue), it snaps on pretty simply. But shortly after, the case started to crack at the corners and slowly chunks of it started falling off. I do not use my laptop often so it typically lives in the backpack (from Incase!) and the backpack only travels from apartment to car to coffee shop - all VERY standard activity. This case could barely hold up a few months, I do not recommend at all, see pictures. It's an environmental hazard and will not protect your computer. Bought a cheaper replacement online that's working much better. Bummer Incase, you were a top quality brand for me before this.
I purchased this just a few weeks ago and I am very disappointed with the fit and overall quality. First, it doesn't stay in place, I have to keep on adjusting it so it would cover the bottom of my MBP. I recommend purchasing one from an actual store so buyers can try it on their device to ensure that it fits perfectly.
