I recieved this item as a gift. It was very easy to intall on two different types of cribs that I have. The music does not play as long as I would like but on the other had it does promote a challenge for your baby. (Newborn-6months) If they want to hear the music an watch the little animals go around they have to figure out how to reach an pull the string. I saw this item an looked over it many times in the store. I thought my little one would not like it because it was to simple & would not catch his/her attention. To my suprise I find him/her waking up from there nap eager to play with this toy. Some times my little one is so quiet I do not even know he/she is up until I hear the music from this toy playing.
