The product looks amazing. Very professional look without the clunky look of the metal versions. Everyone thinks that we spent 2 or 3 times the price but are amazed that the price was comparable.<br /><br />The only drawback is magnets. I read in other reviews where Quartet is working on a magnet offering and others were they say to use rare earth magnets. Bottom line is get this solved or recommend (by part number) someone else's magnets to use. Stop letting a "great" product be dragged down because you can't get a magnet offered.
What a sophisticated-looking dry-erase board! This has made such a statement in my office. It installs easy, works just as well as any "typical" dry erase board, and makes my space look fancy & professional. Quartet makes such a quality product and this one is no different.
Quartet Infinity Glass Dry-Erase Boardshave the smoothest glass for writing. There are absolutely no pits or dents to be had. Allowing noting but smooth writing and clear cleaning. I cannot believe I have gone all these years without a Quartet Infinity Glass Dry-Erase Board. The difference in quality has me still in shock. <br /><br />My Quartet Infinity Glass Dry-Erase Board came with the proper equipment for hanging my board allowing my board to be safely secured to my wall. The Quartet Infinity Glass Dry-Erase Board is easy to write on, easy to install, and easy to erase. It's sleek, heavy duty, and super durable. I love how pretty it is, perfect for an office. It is a great size for for writing on or even letting your kids play with. It could be used for home schooling as well! It's very stylish and I love that the markers don't stain the glass. I was amazed when I received my "dry erase board" because it was so much more than I even pictured in my wildest dreams. The Quartet Infinity Glass Dry-Erase Boards is a White Glass and is so modern looking, I contemplated using it as an art piece because of its beauty. <br /><br />I had so much fun trying this board out with the non-porous finish that allows your marker to glide effortlessly as you write on it. And when you erase. It's like brand new again because the glass doesn't allow the marker to leave a trail of dust, marks or writing to remain on the board. It's just too smooth and with the eraser, it's the perfect board for anyone that wants to maintain a clean new finish at all times.<br /><br />I received the 2' x 3' and it allows me so much space to work and present on. It is made of tempered glass, it's heavy & sturdy and resists scratches and dents. It was definitely built to last. In fact it comes with a 15 year warranty! I use dry-erase boards for both work and play, and this is by far the best my family or office has ever owned. It's the first glass board I've used, and if I could replace all of my aluminum boards with it, I would. It writes and erases without streaking (including by hand), handles all colors well, and has an overall "clean" feel that should last a long time. This board has the place of honor in our family room, for games and creative projects. The surface is huge, and the border-free design is visually appealing. Mounting the board on a wall takes two people, but it's worth it.
The Quartet whiteboard came to the rescue for teaching the homeschoolers - and conducting my own meetings for work. The board was perfectly sleek with a frameless glass design that sat great on the wall and added a nice style to the office. It was exceptionally easy to erase unlike other whiteboards I had used and the eraser worked perfectly as well to make sure no smudges and stains were left. While it's a bit heavy for me, I also tend to be smaller built so it's definitely possible for the average adult to lift and move it as needed. And, it's definitely quality material so you know the glass will remain durable and resist dents and/or scratches that might have impacted it if another board. Glad to have been selected to try it out and have gotten one for my other office as well.
This glass white board has really met my expectations. Good quality and looks professional. It is heavy, but I think that is a good thing. It was installed in my office, so the physical plant did it, not me. Different colors show up well. I haven't had any problems with magnets, but I may of already had some powerful ones, so it hasn't been an issue.
The 8' x 4' boards are dramatic and functional...very helpful for our product design team. <br /><br />The material is thinner than expected, so the board flexes (too much) and the backing "paint" scratches easily when touched. These made it very difficult for our team to install without damaging the board - or the wall. Even though we'd hired professional installers for the job.
I ordered this whiteboard and paid for expedited shipping as I needed it right away. On the date it was supposed arrive, according to my receipt, I received an email saying it had just shipped and would be another 7-12 days for arrival. After calling and spending 30 minutes on hold, they refunded the *extra* shipping I had paid for (they do not even offer expedited shipping) and not received and gave me a $10 discount. Now I have to return it when it arrives and pay for that too. Ridiculous. I can't trust a company that ask customers to pay for items they don't even offer. And then does nothing to make it right.
