Baby needed this and I'm glad I chose right! He could not sleep without movement, this saved us!! The original swing was not cutting it, we needed to turn it slightly angeled so it would be like as if he is in our arms rocking him and it worked beautifully. Not only that but how it custions and snugges the baby as if he in our arms, not with a staight board back, which makes sense to me, it keeps them warm and snugg, mimicing us adults. Ours would of last longer but hubby broke the motor lol it was over time, not right away, he just wouldn't turn it off when taking the baby out so it was forcing the motor to stop and be stuck and eventually stood stuck, burnt it out, but 4 months of that, Im surprised it didnt burnt out sooner! BUT its ok, I was creative to take the swing piece out (I couldn't let it go, our son really enjoyed the lights and music) so while in the playpin bed, the top hung over to still play the AC ADAPTOR POWERED music and lights and show the mirror over him while laying down. I could put the phone playing a baby music app or youtube(without wifi, that hurts baby) my son is 12months now and we now have it over his play yard, he can grab the little stuff animal but it takes time because it circulates and he loves that challenge, even with his mighty baby strength it still has not ripped, its strong, Im amazed it havent ripped. I would so recommend this! AC adaptor + turn the swing to mimic being rocked by us adults + if the motor burns out you can still use it
The swing was easy enough to set up. I'm 34 weeks pregnant and accomplished it by myself. The songs/ nature sounds do not get very loud but I plugged in my phone and it was a lot louder that way. It doesn't swing very fast without any weight so I'm curious to see how long it will last. The material is very cozy and thick! It doesn't have a bucket for the baby to sit in like fisher price has which is why I wanted this swing. It feels a lot more comfortable. The zebra can be removed. I love that the buckles are covered so you don't accidentally clip the baby when buckling the baby in. Ours didn't make any squeaking/ grinding noises that I have read on previous reviews. I am incredibly happy we went ahead and purchased this swing.
I loved this swing! My only complaint is that the speakers stopped working about 2 months in, but you can still sit your phone in the top compartment and have the same effect. My daughter loved the lights and mobile, and it really saved us in the early months!!!!!
Absolutely love this product it's so easy to use and the baby loves it, soothes baby very quickly. This swing was one of the best things I ever received. Unfortunately it randomly stopped working and that has been a big pain. Everything seems fine the wires are plugged in and everything is good to go but the second I press the button a green light flashes and that's it no Power no nothing and the swing isn't working. For it to randomly just stop working is a concern for me and then have the baby stare at you like mama my swing!! This swing is no doubt on the expensive side and the stuff used to build it should be longer lasting. I don't know if I would buy it again or recommend it. ☹️
We recieved it as a baby shower gift. And at 91 days after purchase it stopped working. I have the same problem as the comment titled "Loved it until now". It worked well now. All of a sudden one day i turned it one and the light flashed and then nothing. I checked the wiring and there's nothing not connected or a short in the wiring. I think you need to recall this product and I would love it if you would add a bluetooth connection.
Maybe I just got a defective product? It lights up, the mobile and sound works the LED lights even turn on for the swing, but the swing doesn't swing.
The swing looks comfy and inviting and can't wait for my newborn grandbaby to use. Problem, however. I offered to help my daughter by unboxing. While we'll padded, there are several white zip ties to cut. There white electrical wires that are easily mistaken for zip ties. The wires are not wrapped or padded. In my eagerness to help, I may have cut into a wire. It is intact, but has to be held together manually to maintain current. When put together the swing will not turn on. I've tried to find a replacement part online (swing control with left-midtube, Part 1) but cannot. We are all discouraged about this since our sweet babe is ready to use it.
I was very disappointed on the quality of this swing. First reason being there is no actual seat it is just material stretched between bars. Secondly the pivot point where the swing changes direction is very loose and that is the only thing supporting the baby in the swing. The music can not be heard and the farthest point the swing will recline will not latch, so it can move forward to the next position on its own. I paid $139 dollars and now have to go buy a different swing. I will never buy another product from this company.
I've spent over a hour assembling this product and still have not resolved the issue with the straps. If you check the comments on the YouTube assembly video almost everyone has the same issue. The company has responded to individuals clearly they are aware. I will be seeking a refund and I discourage anyone from buying this item.
I bought this for my youngest at the end of February and everything was good until recently. The motor itself has just completely crapped out. It will swing fine without the little one in it, but will barely swing when he's in it on the highest setting.He is well below the max weight limit by 9 pounds. For only a few months that's pretty ridiculous. Especially at the price tag. Not worth it at all. Last kids 2 product I buy. Back to graco.
