This essentially serves as a sequel to MK8, and boy was I surprised to see "Scorpion" appear in this "Ultimate" version. It's a great game. I played through the whole thing in one sitting because it was that addictive. Very comparable to the MK games, it is no surprise this was made by the same people.
My husband loves it and I look forward to playing it with him.

Based on a very popular DC Comics title, "Injustice: Gods Among Us" uses the 'Mortal Kombat" engine , and delivers a super-knockout experience. A good story mode, great graphics and excellent control makes this game a great addition to any fighter-lover's library. You can uses the character's original special moves and weapons, knock your opponent into special scenes for more battle damage, and use elements on the battle scenes for even more damage. The Story mode cover the original comics story. You end up in a parallel world where an evil Man of Steel rules with an iron fist. You fight through the saga as various heroes and villains, unearthing more about them and their role in this alternate world. And each encounter leads up to a final battle with the sinister Kryptonian despot. Additional modes include arcade mode, verses mode and many online modes.
Injustice: Gods Among Us is a great fighting game that you will love. I am almost finished with the story mode of the game and the story is very good. This version has some additional content and it only makes the game even stronger. These player vs. player fighting games usually do not have a good story but this one has a pretty compelling story. The story within the game is similar to some of the storylines within the comics. The graphics within the game are great and most importantly the fighting mechanics are solid as well. If you like fighting game you will love this one. I would definitely recommend this game.
