I got this game for my son. He likes the game. Plays it a few hours a week with my nephew. He liked that it came with the bonus game as well. For the price would recommend to anyone.
You just cannot beat the value of this package. Excellent price for 2 great games AND a bonus DLC
I am an "old guy" as my step kids say. I barely touch video games anymore because of all the "single player only" mentality in recent games & I don't play first person shooter/killer games (which almost ALL are about now, INCLUDING all the FOUL language)... but I do follow comics (DC & Marvel) & their backstory & storylines. This Walmart DC exclusive package is well worth the money!!! 2 games & a passcode for exclusive skins for the INJUSTICE game, all for under $50. Both games are a throw back to the old arcade style Tekken/Mortal Kombat style fight challenge. Graphics in game (INJUSTICE) & storylines (in both) are AWESOME!! I would have loved this when I was younger. There are a few language words but nothing that hasn't been said on free over-the-air network TV...(ABC, CBS, NBC) during "primetime". The versus battles for both games are great for 2 people or a group. The single player mode follows a preset storyline in both. In INJUSTICE, (single player mode), the story choses the characters you use as the storyline & chapters progress. In DC vs Mortal Kombat, (single player mode), you chose if you want to be on the MK side or the DC superhero/villian side through the story. Again I say I am NOT a gamer... but this has me hooked & playing battles against the kids & also playing the single player mode storyline. I would recommend these for the storylines alone!!! Alot of great times are ahead if you want to game (challenge) the kids or by yourself.

You can tell right away it's from the makers of Mortal Kombat. The graphics and fight engine are excellent!!. The story mode is just like a movie. My nephew had it first and told me I'd like it. He was so right. I've played this game so much. I've even went through the Story Mode twice. Just what you'd expect from Netherealm. It is Awesome!!... I will have to confess I am a Mortal Kombat fan so I might be bias. I didn't know this was from them till I played it and I could tell with all the great effects and game play. Oh I bought this online and had it delivered to the house. WalMart had it to the house within a week. Thanks for the fast shipping.
I usually hate to be in the living room when my husband is playing fighting games, but I couldn't stop watching this one. The animation of the scenes between fights is exceptional, the story line is multi-faceted and wholly engaging. My 4 yr old daughter (a super hero junkie in her own right) has asked to "watch" the video game and help her dad push buttons to fight. The game is very violent (obviously) but no more so than recent Marvel live action movies, or even the Justice League cartoons. The extras included were appreciated by my husband, but honestly, I don't think that he has played the Mortal Kombat game more than twice. He loved the Skins Pack tho. He's been systematically blowing through achievements to unlock more extras in the game. The online PvP aspect is fun for him, but, of course, not much fun for the rest of us to watch... that's why we have Netflix!
my pre order was the problem.I recieved it,and the code said it was redeemed already?microsoft said it was redeemed a day before I recieved it.my tracking history proved it was not me.Thank god the local wal mart allowed me to exchange for 1 of there xtra preordered ones.
I usually don't get into fighting games but tt was really entertaining and a great story. My girlfriend (who really isn't into fighting games) said, "It's like watching a movie and playing a game at the same time." What a fun game. The story is great and the dialog is pretty clever. The survivor mode is really fun. No one can stay on top long in that mode so it doesn't seem so impossible to knock the top guy off the ladder. The ability to use the environment as a weapon makes the game really fun and dynamic. People can use the map selection in their strategy. In the past the environment has always been a pretty picture you chose from now it's actually part of the game and each fight. On a side note Doomsday is broken, haha. Even if you can't play online it is a great game to play locally with friends. Pick your favorite super hero and duke it out!
