Inside Metal: Pioneers of L.A. Hard Rock and Metal 2 [DVD] [2015]

Two feature films are included in this horror movie compilation. Cellar Dweller (1987), directed by John Carl Buechler and written by Don Mancini, stars a graphic novelist from the Fifties who specializes in horror stories, and is overtaken at his home by the creatures he has created with is own pen, and a cartoonist who ends up bringing them back to life three decades later. Catacombs (1988), directed and co-written by David Schmoeller (along with R. Barker Price), centers around a centuries-old curse which brings the Beast of the Apocalypse to haunt and terrorize unfortunate souls at the Abbey of San Pietro.
