[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Evolution 1 HP Garbage Disposal is not over encumbersome under the sink so I can still fit a good amount of cleaning products underneath. This garbage disposal is very easy to install and hook up which is a huge plus. Can take care of most food waste that it does suck up without getting clogged up. I would highly recommend!

It is a larger garbage disposal that our last so we had to re-do the trap because of its size. My husband is pretty handy so it was no problem. The power behind this model is excellent! The splash guard was a bit stiff and food wasn't making it down with ease so my husband made a cut in it so food could easily be push into it and it's perfect.

I think the blades on my old unit were dull because it would take FOREVER to grind up a lemon. This new one decimates it within seconds. I'm absolutely floored. And it's so much more quiet now. The sound doesn't travel all the way to our bedrooms anymore. Overall, this one is a winner. Very happy with it.

I love how quiet the machine is compared to others. It was a very easy install too. It is big so make sure it will fit into your sink first.

It is easy installation if you're a bit of a handy man. This machine is surprisingly quiet for packing a 1 hp motor! I like that it doesn't bog down no matter what you throw at its way. It very well balanced while running. If you have ever had a cheap disposal then you know that they can shimmy and shake no matter how locked down they are. I highly recommend this disposal , it doesn't disappoint!!
I purchased the 55ss to replace a 555ss that I installed in 1999. The 555ss turned out to be bulletproof. It handled pretty much everything I threw at it on a daily basis for the last 25 years without fail. I just hope the 55ss is as rugged and reliable as my old 555ss.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with the Evolution 1 HP Garbage Disposal. This item is heavenly compared to other garbage disposals I have had. It is really powerful. I can't believe how fast it grinds up and disposes of things we put down the drain. We have not experienced any problems with jams. It is really quiet compared to other disposals I've used. It does make some noise but it is not very loud. Installation was straightforward and the included directions were clear and helpful. Everything about this garbage disposal just shows its high quality from the materials to the design to its function. I am really excited to have this great garbage disposal installed in my kitchen and I highly recommend it.
No serial number, not red reset button, junky plastic housing. Very disaapointed for the premium price we paid fpr ths disposal. Always had good experiances with Insiknerator however; not this product. IMHO, it's junk!
