I've used the FT1 for years. It's space saving features are great. I got a little more space and decided to upgrade. Enter the FT2. The best equipment ever! I can't think of any exercise I can't do with this machine. 2 upper pulleys, 4 lower pulleys. They are permanent and so convenient. 2 adjustable pullies. And the Smith bar!! Holy guacamole! I can't say enough about this machine. Love it, love it, love it. Highly recommend.
After seeing this unit in a friend's house, I had to compare it with other makes and models. My wife and I agreed that it was the best quality and nicest looking universal style weight machine we'd ever used or seen. Two years later it still gets used by one of us almost every day! We both love that there are so many exercises that can be done on it and that once used a few times, it's pretty easy to configure it for whichever one you want to do.

I own a fitness studio and I've had this for a while now. It's an awesome piece of equipment. So many exercises you can do as the versatility is incredible. I did purchase the extra weight stack as well. Works great, durable and the functionality is incredible. If you're in the market for a functional trainer, this is my recommendation. You'll be happy you did.

Having used it consistently over this time it has exceed my expectations. It is smooth, easy to reconfigure, change weight, and looks professional.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super easy to use and really good installation instructions. Been using it for 6 months and everything is holding up nicely. The only thing I wish I would have done was buy and add the extra weights, however, when using the Smith bar, you can actually hook it up a certain way to double the weight so the extra weights are really not that necessary. But i like that there is plenty of room to grow with this machine! Best purchase I've ever made!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my functional trainer over a year ago. It does everything I want and it doesn't break. Solid construction, excellent design and engineering, and it works efficiently and effectively. No wasted motion, no fussy weight stack or cable changes, a truly great machine.
This machine is far and away the greatest piece of equipment I have ever owned. The versatility of having a smith bar combined with two weighted cable systems is incredible. I can do large muscle movements and then with 1 or 2 adjustments move straight into individual small muscle movements in seconds. A full body workout with plenty of variability, connection points and accessories. You can't ask for more than this machine provides.
I have had the FT2 for nearly a year now, replacing a smaller MII. It is durable and can even perform barbell-like dead lifts. Well made for the most part, and incredibly versatile. However, a few issues have surfaced. The leg attachment both in the FT2 and MII have the rollers secured by a flimsy washer that slips off center and ultimately comes off along with the screw (design issue). A solid washer with a small hole in the center will rectify that problem. Also, one of the leg cables' outer coating came off ( you may have a vendor issue). Be sure to check bolts and screws periodi8cally, a couple of small ones came off because they apparently were not tightened properly. Also, microloading (think small exercises like rear delt cross backs) is not easy because no 2.5# weight will conveniently attach to a stack. Considering that I use it 16+ hours a week these are fairly minor issues and I recommend it highly. It is pricey, but if you can afford it it will be one of the best investments you ever made in your life! NEVER stop working out!!
