This is a fantastic tool in the kitchen for a couple of things. First, having MS, the summer heat flattens me and makes cooking very difficult. This allows me to make many different meals without too much heat. Beyond the convenience, I make many dishes that my family absolutely love. The ability to pressurize and infuse flavors together make this more than just a "lazy" tool. The trick though - stop looking up recipes online. Get actual specific books. Getting these books is where it went from "Meh - I'll use it once in a while", to "I now have two of them and use them several times a week".
We bought this a couple weeks ago when Sam's had it majorly discounted. Since then I have cooked several things that would normally take several hours such as pot roast, pork shoulder, etc in a fraction of the time and they came out perfectly. I have also cooked other things such as pork chops in gravy that came out moist and tender, hard boiled eggs that almost fall out of their shell, brownies and many other things.
Quality item, quick delivery. I love it. Made two dishes so far and with great success. Chicken Teriyaki/rice, and Cajun Style Kielbasa, new potatoes and Green beans. I bought more accessories to go with it. Looking forward to making more recipes. I get a lot of recipes from Pinterest. The yogurt is so yummy made in the instant pot.
Had to replace my original one I bought back off of qvc before instantpots became a thing. Needed a replacement and saw Sams Club had this one. I like this model because you can prop the lid on the side vs another model Sams had where you didn't have a place for the lid. I have used it 1 time so far and I am happy with it. Would recommend!
Love it so far! Made Filipino Chicken Adobo and it was Quick and Easy!! I’m anxious to explore the other possibilities!
I bought it at Sams.com but I am also posting my review on other websites so more people can see my review. I bought this for my wife for Mother's day for $50 off the retail price so it was a no brainer after thinking about it and researching it for a month or so. My wife loves to cook but she kept me from buying one sooner so when it was on sale...BINGO GRINGO! When it arrived she was still not very enthusiastic about it. We immediately starting watching Y-tube videos on what to cook or how to use. It has been a month and since then she has cooked navy beans, menudo meat, pork ribs and beef stew in a fraction of the time it would have taken in her normal pots. She has changed her outlook on it and now we look forward to having stews, ribs and tamales more often and also make our own beef bone broth which is SUPER healthy for you. She is also going to try making yogurt with it. PS- Remember to cook with filtered water and not tap water when possible for better health benefits.

We received our instant pot very timely, and are learning more recipes each week. My white beans and pot roast was off the chain. Learning how to prepare Keto meals too!
This is my first pressure cooker so I read all the instructions. There were so many warning labels that I was very careful. It took a few tries to get cooking because I removed the rubber piece from the steam valve at the top of the pot when I cleaned it. After I put that piece back on my pot roast cooked for an hour and was the most tender and full of flavor pot roast I ever made and a make a pretty good roast. Cooking In this Instapot is very easy and fast. I love it, it’s my new favorite appliance.
I bought this as a gift for my daughter in law.When they opened the box they found the outer stainless steel had a dent . Inner portion is fine. I have an Instant Pot Which I consider the BEST addition to my kitchen. So easy to use, I cook innumerable dishes using my Instant Pot & I really don’t know how I lived without one before I bought one. That is why I ordered one for my daughter in law...she loves cooking too!! Am SO disappointed to see SAMS shipping a defective product.That is the reason I am giving ONE STAR only.
