I love ❤️ that I 👍🏾 can Bake, stew,slow cook, saute %26 eggs,rice,chilli,beans and make soup. I can cook Everything!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I really wanted a instant pot. We found this 8 quart instant pot and absolutely love it. The first meal I cooked was really good and very user friendly. We have gyro sandwiches. I threw the meat, onions and seasoning on there. 10min later it was finished and it was delicious!
I love all the buttons and choices it has.
I cook all my weekday meals with this! This is my second one only because my first one was a small one, maybe only 3 qts. I decided to get a larger to one so I can my stocks and soups in it.

Super easy to use. Takes a little reading to understand the operation. Mine is the 8-quart. I wanted a large cooker, but it does take up quite a bit of room on the counter (the only drawback).
I would have given this a five star rating but as a first time user the instant pot should have more instructions on how to use and error messages that are not in troubleshooting section of the user manual. At the least this should be included on there web site instead of having to search for answers somewhere else on the internet. It can be a bit scary when you have an error the first time you use it not knowing what to expect. Otherwise I think I'm going to like it. Once I found out and fixed the problem everything went great. I think I'm really going to love it. My advice to everyone is to thoroughly search the internet for how to use each preset and what to do in case you run into errors that are not in their book and save or bookmark those a pages.
I was very excited about getting my 8 quart Instapot VIVA. The entire machine was off center at the base. The gap is so large I was afraid to use it. Better quality control, inspection. Now I have to return it. I'm really disappointed.
I had the instant pot 6 qt and after less than two years the cover would become dangerously hot and would leak. I decided to buy the 8 qt and totally regret it. The stainless steel wire insert that comes with this is the same size as the one that comes with the 6 qt. As a result everything you put on it slides and falls off causing scorching on the bottom. I made two things that I had made numerous times in my 6 qt. The chicken thighs (two attempts in the 8 qt) were not completely cooked and some were bloody on the inside. The other thing I had made numerous times were boiled eggs. Both times they were not completely cooked. Would I buy this again NO. Unfortunately the instant pot company would not guarantee the cover even though it is less than two years old. How much do you want to pay for a pricey appliance that may not make it to two years? I suspect there are better success stories out there with different brands.
My Insta Pot never even worked! I plugged it in after I read the instructions and filled it up with everything for my very costly pot roast and veggies and then the machine never even worked. I am so very very disappointed. But, I know that it is a great kitchen accessory because I have had two different friends use the machine and theirs did in fact work and it was wonderful food.
