I really enjoy cooking in my new pressure cooker it was a little difficult to figure out how to use it at first I hit the start button not knowing it will delay the cooking but after googling the instructions I figured it out very easy to use and food was delicious
So easy to use and makes dinner a breeze! I was so happy to find the Instant Pot in a Mickey Mouse design. This one appliance replaces several others, plus it makes me happy. Easy preparation and easy cleanup. It is a no-brainer!
My wife loved the newer features and the Mickey Mouse decor matches the other items in the kitchen. Great upgrade over our previous model.
I love this Instant Pot!! The Mickey Mouse version is exactly like the regular 6qt Duo - just prettier. This has changed how I cook. Be prepared to hunt YouTube and the internet for recipes - the manual is really lacking in this area. The Mac and Cheese recipe on the side of the box was very good. It is very easy to use and I cook with it quite often.
There is no recipe book that comes with it but there is a small page that gives common foods and the temps and amount of time one should use. The color matches my kitchen and the design matches my style. Shipping was quick, although it does not come in a shipping box. Contents are definitely known. I have already used it 3 times and it works great. I do wish this design came in another size though.
This is my first Instant Pot that Ive been able to use... first had a big dent and was missing parts and their customer service responded quickly but stopped after I sent them MORE pictures (that they'd requested.) I read the booklet to learn and I watched some Fabulously Frugal videos. I washed, dried, and filled the inner pot with 3 cups water for the test run. That was a good idea... learning that it takes a while to heat up, then the timer starts. Releasing the pressure was a bit nerve wracking but I did it and followed instructions and did not get burned. Decided to cook some sausage and cabbage. Came out great. I bought it to make my LectinFree recipes so I will update this once Ive utilized each of the methods - sauté, steam, chili, meat, poultry, soup, and slow cook. There are more options but doubt I'll be making carb- loaded foods like rice or porridge. Yogurt option looks intriguing. Its got a handy holder on each side to securely hold the lid. I really like that feature.
I made Chicken soup last night just by sautéing carrots, celery and onions (IN THE INSANT POT!) then adding a WHOLE chicken. It cooked in 20 minutes! So easy and only 1 pot to clean. I love this thing!
I ordered 3 of these Instant Pots. The delivery took just about 3 days which was excellent. The sad thing is that one of the three had a dent on the body panel of it. The box also had a gaping hole in the same area as the dent. It appeared that a shipping strap used to keep the items in place tore through the side of the box and reached the pot inside. Disappointed, however I requested an exchange yesterday, damaged one was picked up by Fedex today and replacement is carded to reach in the next 3 days. Hopefully the replacement does not come damaged! Keeping my fingers crossed
i LOVED my regular instant pot so when i saw the mickey mouse one i was so happy!! i wanted the black one but wasnt up for delivery so i settled for the white one still super cute and it does its job i bought it for making stew mainly so with my excitement i prepped all my ingredients and just tossed them in and turned it on, started admiring it to notice it had a big dent on it not sure if you can tell in the pics but i was so sad to see it came in damaged and i already used it so it was to late to return for a new one ): wouldnt recommend buying online maybe pick up in store.....
Arrived with the handle broken from the 'pot' & cracked. The box was undamaged & the handle wasn;t in the box. It would appear I was sent a broken return that they just put in a new box. (I'm surprised they asked for a rating)
