[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the Rio Wide instant pot multi cooker and it is an awesome tool to have in your kitchen. The instant pot holds 7.5 Quarts so it has a large inner capacity. The instant pot comes ready to use; included is an additional sealing ring. The instant pot comes with a star guide that walks you through the process of using this cooker. This cooker can cook a variety of foods like pasta and chicken and even deserts. I chose to make cheesecakes in this cooker and it took only 35 minutes. I had found an easy recipe and was able to execute the recipe with ease. A typical NY Style cheesecake takes hours to make so I was happy to see this can be done in approximately 35 minutes. The instant pot was easy to use and it works fast. Speed is so important with my family's busy lifestyle. The inner pot is stainless steel and it is also dishwasher safe. The display screen is large and easy to read use and understand. I highly recommend this instant pot for any busy family. We are highly satisfied with the results of this instant pot, we will continue to use this in the future!

Even before they were made by every brand and a staple in every home, I was delighted by how suddenly easy they made all kinds of cooking for me. My husband is a fantastic cook and I've always struggled to live up to his dishes, but the Instant Pot changed that and now I have some amazing signatures myself. It's like they read my mind, because my only issue was searing large pieces of meat since it was always a small surface area and the inner pot wouldn't stop spinning. Well, here is the wide base, no spin pot, and even a sleeker looking design to freshen things up. I was able to cook all the chicken for my lo mein at once instead of batches, and the steam release was way more functional so no more pouring steam water into my food if it stayed in the pot a while. All the most loved functions are still there, just way more efficient and chef friendly.
The red seal is hard to put on!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love everything about this Rio Instant Pot! It is so versatile and can handle everything I throw in due to its extra large 7.5 quart capacity. I have even cooked a whole chicken in it! Being able to sauté and sear in this Instant Pot is very convenient. It also works as a steamer, slow cooker, and rice cooker. This product takes the place of multiple countertop appliances. There is a lot of bang for your buck! It cooks quickly and evenly and is top of the line. It is also very easy to clean. They really thought of everything! Whether you are an experienced cook or just learning you will not be disappointed!
This Instant Pot was just okay. It was heavy and there was no rest for the lid on the side of the pot. The reason I returned it is that there are no replacement parts or accessories for it. Sealing rings eventually need to be replaced. It was too much money to keep with no replacement parts.
The pressure cooking function works as it should, but the searing and slow cooker functions do not. Keep getting error messages. The pressure cooker feature also gets error messages when depressurizing.
I does a good job of pressure-cooking. I would have considered a different model if I knew that replacement parts are not available. Many users suggest having several rings available for cooking different types of food and to prevent odor carry-over. But if my one pressure ring fails then the whole device is worthless. If Instant Pot is making liner pots and rings for new devices they should make some available to loyal customers.
It NEVER seals!!!!! The duo is way better. I constantly get a C7 because it has literally steamed all of the liquid out. I have two other Insta pot duos. One is an 8 quart the others a 6 quart. I never have that issue. EVER!!!!
I didn't even get an Insta pot. I was sent an air fryer. How do you confuse the two? Like seriously! Did not one single person pay attention? It's even on the outside of the box what's inside of it and it's a picture of an air fryer!
I'm so disappointed in this Instant Pot, I bought it specifically to make yogurt. There is no customization with the yogurt preset which means I can't do the cold start method. And the pasteurizing doesn't always get the milk to 180 degrees, so I have to use sauté, but then I can't go back and ferment. I want to return the pot but I got rid of the packaging. Don't buy this pot if you want to use it for yogurt.
