I had the Instant Pot Ultra for a year. The heating element stopped working. Even though the warrenty had expired the company honored the repair. Ultimately they sent me a new Instant Pot. I have primarily used it for soups, especially bean soups, eggs, sauté then braising meats, sautés then slow cooking.
I've found this is the best product for making vegan yogurt with homemade almond and walnut milk. The ability to control the exact temperature has been key in getting the results I wanted. In addition to that, Instant Pot customer service is fantastic. I had a question and they went above and beyond to help me figure it out. Never thought I'd want or use one of these... but it is now a regular staple of my cooking routine.
I love my instant pot. I make easy quick dinners, yogurt, oatmeal, rice and soup often. I was especially sad when it suddenly stopped working after about a year. I contacted customer service and after working with them to resolve the problem unsuccessfully, they sent me a new pot free of charge. Excellent customer service.
I love my instant pot. I have a couple of models and by far the Ultra model is the best. We used it while traveling and it was wonderful to set the different elevation depending on where we were in the United States. Unfortunately, our instant pot got physically damaged. The exterior is not solid and can mess up easily, so be careful with it. Instant Pot stands by their product and honored their year warranty. They sent me a new instant pot and we are very pleased with their customer service.
This is my second instant pot in 18 months. I've used it every 2 weeks or so to make entire meals and about every week to make mashed potatoes. It gets a good amount of use. Unfortunately, as of 3 weeks ago, our instant pot starting throwing an error with the code C6L. The manual instructed me to contact support. I did so. After a day or two of emailing a support representative and providing pictures of my pot, they sent me a brand new unit, free of charge. Not only is the instant pot a fantastic, low-hassle way to make a large variety of meals...It is also a brand with amazing customer service
Gotta say first and foremost I love this pot! I love the Instant Pot customer service! My husband is on location at a job 1600 miles from home for 18 months with no cooking capability and it was getting quite expensive to feed him so what to do????? I know....send him and instant pot so he can get some fast easy nutritious meals away from home. Wont ever regret this. I love them so much I have two at home, a 10Qt and a 6Qt for our family needs at home and when he brings that one too..not only will I be making main course, but also a side dish AND dessert at the same time. It's energy efficient and doesn't heat the house up. Minimal water usage and easy cleanup. Seriously..if you are on the fence, then hop over to the bright side and make life easier with one of these beauties! You will never regret it.
Love my instant pot but returned the 6qt to get the 8qt. I could tell from the size of the box that the 6 qt wasn't going to be big enough for my family of 4. The 8qt is perfect and I've already used it twice and only had it a few days. So easy to use and now I make delicious dinners so much quicker and clean up super easy too!
I use this IP almost daily. In fact, there are only 2 of us and I bought a 2nd IP- same size and model. I make yogurt weekly- it's delicious. I use it for so many other things too. I'm vegetarian and was worried I wouldn't use it much but I was wrong. I cook in it almost daily. I've replaced my rice cooker, slow cooker etc with my IP. It rocks.
I really appreciate and thank the team to send me a new instant pot as a replacement of my previous purchase of instapot a year ago due to some steam malfunction on the lid. But the new pot works perfect and I use it to cook lot of Indian delicacies in it.
Bought this model in January and loved it. We noticed that the lid actually melted on the side!! Replacement lids are expensive and out of stock. Now have a completely useless appliance.
