Used this in our camper where we had installed vinyl flooring to replace the old carpet. Tried another product first that was a disaster so thoroughly cleaning up the residue from that mess was Key! InstaTrim worked perfectly when I had cleaned the surface with acetone as recommended on the package. I used a dowel rod with a rounded tip to help get it into the corners that were hard to reach. To make sure it was smoothed out I slid the small side of a ball-peen hammer over it and the result looks professional.
InstaTrim is a godsend! It goes down easily, and can be pulled back up for a better placement. It looks professionally done, so I am proud of my work. I recommend InstaTrim to everyone who has hated the job they did on their tubs before, when using regular caulking.
I have to say that I dont write a lot of reviews but I had to comment on this product, I love it!!!! you have to follow directions to a T, but I also used a hair dryer to heat it up a bit and adhered perfectly.
We remodeled or bathroom and used InstaTrim to complete the job in several areas and it worked wonders! Changed the overall look of the room and was very easy to install. This is an awesome product. Highly recommend!
Easy to use, sticks down easily, completed the job with a lot less stress than putting up molding with a hammer and nail or brad nailer.
Used in our motor home when we replaced carpet with vinyl flooring. Easy install and flexible around curves and corners. Nice finished look.
My baseboards didn't know what they were missing before I came across Instatrim - totally pulled my bathroom together. So easy to use! Be sure to read the instructions and wipe the surface you are applying to with a damp cloth before applying to ensure it adheres properly.
Sticks easily but be aware of exactly how narrow this is. You have to trim it well it any corner and it does not stock well on any curve.
Easy quick fix, not that sticky though, had to use some glue. I used it around my fireplace and it came it nice. Im going to oaint it all one color. I own a historic home, and here and there i notice some trim is missing or damaged. This trim does not necessarily match my trim, but it improves the apprearance because your eye is no linger drawn to gaps in the trim. Id recommend but please note it does stick, but isnt that sticky. You may need glue.
I tried to use this product to seal the joint of a wooden ceiling and a wood panel wall. After 5 minutes, the product came loose. After repeated attempts, the result was the same. The adhesive on this product is very weak and will not stick. It was a waste of money.
