Very well made as with the rest of my Walls products. Seems like the sleeves are just a little short but, not something I cant live with. have not wore them outside yet ( hasn't been cold enough.. YET)so I cant say how warm they will be but they will be my winter outdoor go to gear.I hope they last 20+ years like my first pair of Walls bibs that I still wear.
I really like these coveralls. I bought them for bow hunting. The overall construction is quality. They sure did think this product through. Pros: Shell material is quiet. Comfortable range of motion. Outer shell is tough enough to stop the wind and prevent light rain from soaking in. The backside leg-bottoms are reinforced, preventing the dredded fray. The sides have small buttoned access holes to pull up your pants, long johns, etc underneath. The zipper drops low enough to be confident you won't zip up your Johnson. You'll have plenty of pockets for your items, inside and out. The front zipper is solid and pretty silent. Con: The size of the neoprene cuffs are way to small. I bought XL and the cuffs feel like they're the right size for a medium or small. This causes my under-clothes to bunch up high on my forearm. I'm considering cutting mine off, but that would be a shame; because the neoprene is a nice feature.
These are warm and comfortable in the stand. I normally wear a pair of bibs and a coat in the tree stand. As I get older it seems to be harder to stay warm. I decided this year that I was going to try a pair of coveralls instead of my bibs so, I bought these. All I can say is outstanding! Now I can sit for 6 hours or more in sub-freezing temps with no problem. The nice thing about coveralls vs bibs is there is nowhere for drafts to get in. They’re like wearing a sleeping bag in your stand.
My wife of 60 years bought these Walls coveralls for me as a Christmas gift. I'll be 85 soon and get cold easily while hunting. But these coveralls keep me nice and toasty... even on the coldest of days. I would suggest ordering a size shorter than you normally wear. The waist fit great, but I'm over 6' tall and had to exchange them for a short. Other than the height issue, these coveralls are the best. I would definitely recommend them.
Went goose hunting today (11-10-17) near Watertown, SD. Exposed to the elements; no pit, no blind, no sun, 13 Degrees F, wind around hurricane velocity (OK, maybe 20 mph), and with these under my hunting coat, I stayed (honest to God) WARM. Needless to say, I am extremely impressed!!
The fit is perfect which speaks directly to an accurate sizing chart. Shipping was fast and the quality of there coveralls exceeded my expectations. Top this with a hug variety of sizes and you can't go wrong. I would highly recommend their product.
My husband has a pair of hunting overalls his dad bought him when he was 14. He is 53! Now my 30 year old son is wearing then to work. The pattern is no longer made and people comment on them all the time. I wish they were still made in this pattern. They are SUPER warm. My father in law was smart he bought them WAY oversized so they would fit my husband as a grown man and they do.
I brought the coveralls a little over a few weeks ago and I'm pleasantly surprised by the durability and the insulation the cover all did not rip when I was going through Very thick briars in open fields and kept me warm because I don't tree stand hunt in the mill of Winter in upstate New York The product came as advertised and fit as advertised. So far so good!
Bought these to stay warm hunting they are warm love that feel kinda like denim they seem tough big deep pockets pleanty of room for stuff unfortunately I’m like just to big for the smaller size so they are big on me like two winter coats big, but I keep warm and got room for more or to grow so very little complaints
Bought these about a month ago... not really warm enough for the late season. Bit disappointed... design is good, would be better with cargo pockets, and snap adjustments to make leg opening smaller. Maybe add hand warmer compartment for kidney section? It’s a warmish day, (high 20’s) sitting in ground blind with 2 layers underneath and I’m comfortable.
