I had to order this for my teen after the original quit working because of over-h eating. I like that this one has a built-in cooling fan. We received our order on the exact day of expected delivery. We're very satisfied with this product.
Works just fine, but the fan on the inside is louder than the 360 and is annoying during gameplay... cannot recommend to anyone. Call Microsoft and have them ship you an official replacement adapter. All of the adapters are going to be pricey so you might as well go for quality here.
I can't complain about it working, because so far it is. The one huge problem that i have with it, is it sounds like a jet engine. It's really loud and annoying while you playing games.
I wouldn't recommend buying this product. I bought this item and got about a month of use out of it before it died. It does not shut off complete power to your xbox. So if you have an Intercooler on your 360 you'll have to completely unplug your consoles power supply to get the Intercooler to turn off. Or it will run all the time causing your power supply to work 24/7. Overall: Owned product for a month before I got the 3 Red Rings of Death.
I would not recommend this to anyone. It seemed to not be compatible at all with my 360. Sure it worked fine for the first two days that I used it, but when I went to use it on the third day all I got was the "red ring of death". I tried a different power supply and it worked perfectly. The hardware failure was the power supply. Luckily it was easy to return. Avoid this product.

xbox 360's are only compatible with the power supply they were originally sold with depending on the chip set. Some xbox's are jaspers which require the 150w power supply, where falcons use either a 175w or a 203w. Buying an aftermarket power supply almost gaurantee's your system to malfunction... STAY AWAY!!!
For a power adapter that costs almost one third the price of your system you'd expect miracles. This power brick is more like the plagues of Egypt. I've had mine for a year now. Its had to be fixed twice. You have to pay for shipping to the facility and supply a receipt to get it fixed. The first replacement they sent me was very loud and noisy. It burned out within two months. I'm waiting for their latest response to my problem. You're better off buying another Xbox than buying this power brick. At least then you'll have plenty of spares and won't have to deal with an extremely difficult to find return policy.
