I ordered this stand in the forest green color to compliment a green bistro set. The color is rich and GORGEOUS !! The umbrella that we have is 9 ft. wide with a 1.375 diameter pole. This umbrella stand has a 1.5 diameter opening. The stem rises 15 inches from the bottom, which was what we needed for our bistro table that has a 16 inch rise from the bottom to a decorative plate before the table section. Every site recommended a minimum of a 40 lb. stand to hold a 9 ft. umbrella. But, since this is going in a set that is for our grandchildren, we felt that the 55 lb. stand would be sturdier. It is VERY HEAVY! And very wind resistant . We've had very windy & stormy weather in Houston these past weeks & this umbrella stand has held up. I highly recommend this stand. It's sturdy, heavy, & beautiful.
This stand was not difficult to put together, but it is very heavy, perfect for using with our new 11 ft patio umbrella and table. The umbrella fit perfectly into the hole, but be sure to measure the diameter of your pole before ordering. Our pole is 1.38 inches in diam. and the opening accepts up to 1.5 in in diam.

I ordered this Sunflower umbrella stand for a 9ft. patio umbrella for a beautiful green bistro set for my grandchildren. Hayneedle, so far, has not disappointed me. The quality of merchandise is excellent and their customer service is responsive and helpful. This stand weighs 55lbs and is H.E.A.V.Y!! This 9ft. umbrella recommends a 40lb. stand with a table, but I felt that a 55lb. would be stronger & more stable since this was going to shade my grandchildren. The color forest green is GORGEOUS! And matches the bistro set PERFECTLY! The stem is a powder coated bronze and rises 15"" . That was exactly what I needed for this table as it has a decorative middle that rises 16"" from the ground!! The diameter of the stand is 19"". Again, perfect for the table since the diameter between the legs is 22""!! It can accommodate an umbrella 1.5"" diameter. My 9ft. Umbrella is 1.375. Once the umbrella is inserted, it has a nice black, flowerette knob to tighten & secure the umbrella. I am SO HAPPY with my selection! We can't wait for our grandkids to visit!!
I bought 2 of these umbrella stands in chocolate. I live on the the Jersey Shore and it is always windy! We have a 3 tiered deck with free standing umbrellas, so the 50 pound stands are perfect to hold them. The stand blends beautifully with the deck and the flower design is simple and pretty. I am really happy with them!

This umbrella stand was very heavy...so perfect for umbrellas that you don't want to go anywhere! The only problem was that the instructions and parts were totally different!!!! Thankfully, my husband was able to figure it out without directions!!! Really did not want to box it back up to ship back. I ordered the white...not bright white...perfect!
Arrived broken.
Wrong color was sent. I bought the correct color from another company. It was a nightmare to return the incorrect color, so I bought it elsewhere.
