This water slide is great. It's been up for two weeks, and has taken a beating from the Phoenix afternoon sun and a bunch of kids at a birthday party. This was purchased as a gift and we are thrilled with it, she plays on it every day sometimes 3 times a day. It's needed a little pump of air on occasion but that's to be expected. No complaints here, the slide is great!
My kids played on this for 5 hours the first day we set it up. Lots of fun - easy to set up, and seems very sturdy. We've only had it for less than a month - but so far so good! Great fun product.
I purchased this for my 10-8-6 yr old kids and they love it! My husband has even taken a few trips down the slide. It was a pain to set up because we didn't purchase a pump. We finally got it inflated using my husbands air compressor. Like other reviews I did not receive a patch kit or instructions on how to set it up but after awhile we figured it out. This occupied my kids for the first weekend all day long and they have beening playing with it every day after school since. If it lasts the summer, it is well worth the money! The air does leave the slide but once its inflated its quick to add some air.
...for the money. It's held up for 2 weeks so far, though the sides seem to need a little air at times. The square at the bottom of the slide is strange as in our pool it floats on top of the water. So my granddaughter slides down and then kind of pauses on the square part before going into the water. We deflated it and tucked it under which makes for a more fun slide. Oh and the patch kit that was supposed to be included was not and we were told to call the manufacturer which we have not yet bothered to do. That was annoying. Also no set-up instructions which I assume were with the patch kit.
We purchased this product for our 4yr old daughter and 2 yr old son for their birthdays! We loved it when we got it... THEN on the third day the steps ripped where one of the the foot holes were. Which made the back deflate and unable to use at all! The weight limit is 250lbs and no one that got on it was nearly that weight! It would have been a great product but we were very disappointed since it didn't last at all! We returned it to Wal-mart store for a full refund no problem! So maybe its worth the chance or not!
Only used the slide twice when the grandkids were in town. Slide was in storage when not in use. Foot holes ripped at the seams. The slide was fun while it lasted. Great idea...poor design. Can't recommend this to anyone. Costs too much for as Long as it lasts.
This product was used once by two 6 year old boys when seam busted open where you place you feet and will no longer hold air. I tried contacting intex multiple times with no help as to why the seam would have busted open, with no offer to replace the product as it may be defective. Very disappointed for a $100 loss in a useless product. Prior to the seam opening in the home where the boys climbed (1 at a time) they were having fun and enjoying the slide.
water hose attaches so that water will spay on the actual slide and keep it wet after about 2 weeks of use the lines came undone inside the slide and it filled up with water!!! became very heavy and hard to drain!
I purchased my Intex through Walmart last month. It made it 3 days before the first foot hold ripped at the seams. I was able to repair it with Gorilla tape. Over the next 15 days the warranty expired and 5 of the 6 foot hold have splint it the same spot. I now have a slide that is covered in Gorilla tape and leak immediately. Any suggestions for replacement from Walmart appreciated. The Gorilla tape I purchased at Walmart is 5 stars.......
I purchased one of these slides for my grandkids and it lasted less than 2 months. It blew a hole in a seam where you could not repair, so I contacted company. They sent me another, too late in season to use so following summer we blew up and less than 3 weeks later another hole blew in steps that kids climb. Intex refused to do anything about it because too much time had gone since I didn't use when they sent it to me. Obviously very cheaply made
