I have had this spa for 3 years unfortunately after 3 years I needed to replace the pump but it was well worth it
I like the overall ease of setting it up. The bladder for the cover however that was only up for a few months last season after I purchased it in August 2021, already does not hold air and I had to spend $42 to replace it.
I ONLY RATED THIS SPA 2 STARS BECAUSE ALL IT DOES IS HOLD WATER, AND LIGHTS FLASH ON THE CONTROL PANEL. IT TAKES 4-5 TIMES JUST TO TURN IT ON AND NONE OF THE HST OR HDT WORK. YOU NEED TO BE A COMPUTER GEEK TO SET ANYTHING OR ALL YOU GET IS ERROR MESSAGES. I LISTENED TO THE ERROR 91 BEEP HALF THE NIGHT, NEVER SHUTS OFF. FINALLY I PULLED THE PLUG! I'VE HAD IT 3 WEEKS NOW AND CAN'T EVEN USE IT YET. WHEN YOU CALL TECH SUPPORT, I TALKED TO 2 PEOPLE WHO COULD TELL ME NOTHING ON HOW TO GET THIS SPA STARTED UP. THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND THE MANUAL ANYMORE THAN I DO. I'VE HAD 3 OF INTEX POOLS AND 3 OF THEIR SPAS. LOVED EVERY ONE OF THEM. MY 8 YEAR COLLEGE EDUCATION CAN'T GET THIS ONE TO RUN. SAVE YOUR DOLLARS.
I have had this spa just a little over a year. About a week before the warranty was up, my pump went out. Luckily they sent me a new base free of charge. After having the new pump 1 month, the heating element went out. I called them and they said that it is no longer covered. These spas do not last at all. I have a spa that isn't even a year and a half old that is useless to me now.
I have code E91 caused by electrolytic cell failure. I found out that this is very common. I'm still under warranty, but it's sad this part failed after less than a year. Many people have switched to adding chrorine and leaving the salt system inoperative.
