I am really enjoying this ION Audio Party Rocker Go Boombox. This thing is a party starter wherever it goes. So far, we have taking it with us on a camping trip, used it several times at our homeschool meetings and I frequently use it while I am doing chores or yard work. It has a built in handle that makes carrying it along with us a breeze. This boombox is water resistant so we can use it by the pool or at the beach while we are camping. We used it at our campsite while cooking out with some of our neighbors from surrounding campsites and everyone loved the lights. There are two disco balls lights on the top that cast multi colored lights into the ceiling or surfaces. There is also a light bar at the bottom, a lighted bass panel on the front center and lights in each one of the speaker areas. There is a button that lets me control the lights or have them beat along to the music. There is also a button to boost the bass and this thing is pretty loud for its size. You can actually see the bass bumping in the front lighted panel of this boombox. I love that I can answer calls from my phone on this boombox while I am streaming music over Bluetooth. The boombox has the option to use over the air radio stations to listen to music. I can connect two Bluetooth devices to this boombox so we can use it in DJ mode to switch through songs. The battery lasts a long time during charges and it does come with a charging cable included in the packaging. It has an app that lets me control the lights, music settings and radio from my phone from up to 100 ft away so I don't have to be near it to operate it. This is the coolest boombox I have ever seen and everyone just loves the cool light effects.
This speaker is a pretty cool wireless speaker with a retro look. There is an app that goes with this speaker, which was easy to set up and connect with no signing up for app access. It connects easily to the speaker and allows the user to customize the audio settings, light settings, and allows access to radio stations. I have found that having all the lights on can be a bit annoying for normal use, but my kids love to use it with all the lights. My husband and I prefer the main front lights on the speakers and the rectangular light around the logo. There are buttons on the speaker that allow the user to pause and play music, a light control, a bass boost control, bluetooth control, power button, radio button and volume controls. The audio quality is very nice and I love that I can easily control the bass boost with the pressing of a button. This is especially handle when switching from music (which I prefer the bass with) and voice audio (which I do not want the additional bass with). I love this speaker and it is great for all members of my family. We can use it for everyday use, or have a dance party whenever we want!
This ION Party Rocker Go High-Power Portable Boombox with party starter lights provides excellent sound. It is easy to set up the boombox. It fully charges in 6 hours with the USB-cable that comes with the boombox. It is easy to connect the boombox to the ION Sound XP app and to turn on Bluetooth. It is easy to navigate the app and you can also use the radio button on the boombox. It is so much fun to see the lights and the bass radiator lighten up with multi-color that beat-sync to the music. I love that you can connect even two phones to the boombox. The sound is of superb quality and very crisp. The control buttons are easy to use with the ability to adjust volume. I highly recommend this fun boombox!
The Ion Audio Party Rocker Go has an AMAZING sound quality. It is very easy to connect to Bluetooth. I like that it is portable; I bring it around with me for a party in my backyard and the sounds can be heard and controlled for up to 100 ft. It has multi-color lighting that looks great on the top of the roof or at the poolside. The battery life is great as well; a fully charged battery plays for up to 20 hours. It's a nice durable speaker; I like it a lot, it exceeds my expectations. I am sure you will love it too, for those reasons I highly recommend it.
This thing is pretty cool! It is decently loud for its size. It is about the same size as a shoe box but definitely packs a punch. It has some different light options you can choose too. You can have some pulsating lights or an all out disco ball with different colored lights flashing and pulsing. Bluetooth connectivity was easy. It is the same as any other bluetooth device. Turn bluetooth on and hit the connect button. Its nice to have this thing outside during gatherings or barbecues. It is waterproof and can handle the rain. It cant be submerged though. Charging is easy and you just plug it in to an outlet. Will need your own charger though as it only comes with a short cable and no plug.
This Bluetooth speaker is very portable. It has ball lights in the build which throw colorful lights on the ceiling to make a disco party environment. The sound quality is amazing and is also loud. You can control the bass level. Good portable speaker for camping, beach trips, or at-home parties.
This boombox is great. I appreciate the fact that the lights have 4 different modes: completely off, just the center "ion" thing lit, the center + speakers lit, and all lit with the little colorful disco balls lit. The lights in the speaker remain a soft white, whereas the center cycles between colors and the disco ball is an array of colors everywhere. Pairing is easy, and connecting after pairing is also incredibly easy - fully automatic. For me, the only way this sounds good is with the "bass" button activated. With it, the sound is far too tinny. Quite frankly, even with it, depending on the songs, you do get a lot more highs than mids and lows. The battery keeps it going for a good period of time, though I do wish it used USB-C rather than the older style. The boombox is Made in China, is water resistant (IPX5), and can also charge your phone (or other USB device) in a pinch. Overall, a good, versatile boom box that could use a bit mids/lows (bass) depending on your tastes, but otherwise works very well.
The ion party rocker is unbelievable! I can't tell enough people about it! It's very portable, Bluetooth hookup with fm radio still on it. It has disco lights if you want to get the party going. It gets very loud but he sound quality is amazing! I stuck it in the middle of the yard ( pretty far away ) and it stayed connected to my phone and the sound quality was still perfect. There is a button for bass which is cool. I'm in love with this stereo! I can't wait to make new memories with this gem! It is charged with a USB cord and it actually lasts hours! I think everyone needs one of these in their life!! Game changer for sure!
The sound is rocking and the bass is pumping! This ION Party Rocker Go boombox has some impressive speakers. I had it on fairly loud and did not notice any distortion. Utilizing the bass button did give a bass pumping boost. It did not seem heavy at 5 lb & 14 ounces. The ION Party Rocker Go boombox has zero display, hence, it is better utilized with the app. In the app you can set presets for the radio otherwise it is a seek mode, which I could not get to stop seeking most of the time. You press and hold the +/- buttons to seek. The ION boombox is lacking a retractable antenna so that could be the reason it has a hard time zeroing on stations. Once you zero in on a station, it is necessary to move the box around to try and tune in the station. The app will allow you to preset the stations, so you will have some clue then you are actually on the correct frequency. If you want to avoid the radio, the Ion Party Rocker Go has two other options for listening to your jams. Two bluetooth devices can be connected at the same time or a device can be connected by a 1/8" cable via the AUX input. Located on the backside of the ION Party Rocker Go boombox in the middle on the very bottom is an attached rubberish cover that houses the charging port, AUX in port and a USB port. It is fairly easy to open and close but it is not the easiest to access in its location. The ION Party Rocker Go boombox's light modes are bass radiator, woofers, dome LEDs, and ground LEDs. The dome LEDs project color up and out the top sides and the ground LEDs light up the ground. In order to see the dome LEDs, since it is a projector, you would need some kind of wall or ceiling to see this light mode. It is a cool prism effect with triangle shapes like a kaleidoscope effect. The bass radiator is a rectangular border in the middle located on the front side. The woofer lights are two circles located over the speakers located on the front side. The ION Party Rocker Go boombox seems to be more user friendly using the app. There is a Stereo-Link mode where another Ion Party Rocker Go can be connected. Get your groove on with the ION Party Rocker Go boombox.
Flashlight is needed to see the all-black control buttons. Whether I'm just turning it on or changing volume or switching light modes, I can't see or feel which button is which. The sound quality is just OK, not great. My pill type speakers sound crisper and clearer in comparison to the slightly muffled sounds that this speaker puts out. The lights are cute, I love that it does Not announce itself to sleep/power off. But for the sound quality and ease of use, there are better options.
