This is a highly recommended affordable device to clean and purify the air in your room. I also concur with that. There is a small amount of ozone that is put out but if you look up the benefits of ozone on your health, you will know there is a health benefit to having this in your room. Look that up.
I purchased one of these for my family/kitchen area (asthma issues). It's extremely quiet. As they say it works best when you keep the air moving. I have a ceiling fan and a small fan on the floor that I have blowing toward the Ionic Pro unit itself to help with air moving. I'm still studying up as to the ozone/oxygen it puts out. Which is why I placed it in the largest open area in my house. The Ionic Pro will cover a 550 sq ft. It helps reduces airborne allergens, pollutants, kills airborne bacteria, germs and viruses. I also have 2 "Honeywell" True Hepa air purifiers in both of my bedrooms ( Cost me $94 each I purchase the one that cover a 155 sq ft) . The Hepa purifiers pre-filter that you purchase is not expensive. It cost me $8 and you will get 8 filters out of that sheet. Which will last you a couple years. The main HEPA filter is around $22, they only need replacing once a year . I highly recommend BOTH. However, I recommend the HEPA units for bedrooms. Again, remember ozone/oxygen that the Ionic Pro Turbo puts out! My Daughter calls me Monica (Character from Friends) because I'm a cleaning fanatic lol. I was truly shocked as to how much dirt that both this units caught. In short I will NEVER live without air purifiers in my home again. It's something I highly recommend to all if you want to breathe healthy fresh air and rid your family of ever being sick!
This product is great. It's so quiet, that you only know it's on because of the blue light. It easy to clean and requires little maintenance.
I really can't say a whole lot about this only had for just over a week now. It sems to be doing what it claims. The air in my apartment sems cleaner.
I had purchased the original Ionic Pro in 2004. It finally died on me a couple of weeks ago so I needed a replacement. I suffer from seasonal allergies as well as allergies to mold and dust. The updated unit works great. It's much easier to clean and maintain than the original If it did nothing but help remove dust from the air then it's worth every dime.
This product is very quite and is easy to clean . I am just not sure it is doing the job I wanted it for . To me I do not smell anything different in the air . I thought it would clean the air and make a noticeable difference . But I am still waiting for that lol .
This product works pretty well. No noise coming from unit at all. It doesn't quite clean up smoking odors as quickly as I had hoped, but generally cleans the air within 24 hours in a medium sized room. Is it worth the money...time will tell. But, so far so good. Love the fact that I won't have to worry about not being able to find filters for it later on.
Order from web site arrived earlier than expected:) turned on right away... cannot tell it's on or off! total silent! (like that part) but the air didn't seem to changed at all! waited a week... still can't tell differences... thinking about returning, today 11th day I can tell difference fresh air! Glad I didn't return & give more time.
With all the reviews on here stating that this was a great machine and how it took odors and cigarette smoke out of the room, I had to buy it. I've had it for about a month and notice only a slight difference. Not dramatic like half these reviews state. Of course this is in a small room so when I read the review about a whole house with tons of cats and smokers, etc... I was very interested. I had it on 24/7, have kept it cleaned and everything but it's not as great as I thought it would be.
Would have been a great value if it had worked. Went into cleaning mode about 10 seconds after turned on. Re tried 4 times before giving up and returning product. Not happy at all.
