Best car mount, I like it that you can always take it off since it is a air vent mount. Easy to use, easy to install.
Very rare you find merchandise made of plastic that actually functions but this one is designed perfectly. Attaching and releasing phone can be achieved simply with one hand.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mount is well constructed. The rubber piece that attaches to the air vent holds snuggle and keeps the mount in place. Mounting the phone is a breeze. Just by placing the phone on the mount, the clip snaps in and hold the phone. It able to hold my large phone (S10+ w/case) without any issue. It rotates and tilt with easy. Removing phone is also seamless. By pressing in the two clips on each side, it will release the phone. The clips lock in open position until the next time you place the phone back on the mount. No need to squeeze it open with one hand while placing the phone on mount with the other hand. This air vent mount made it super simple to where you can just mount your phone with one hand.
I was skeptical on which phone holder to get as we live down a long bumpy road but this one has seemed to hold up very well! The phone doesn't fall out when hitting rumble strips and pot holes for a couple miles. It can hold larger sized phones and smaller so it's nice that it's universal.
Spent a lot of time researching auto phone mounts and finally decided on this particular one. I am very pleased with the product. It is easy to install and I like the fact it attaches to the vent so I can easily remove it at any time. It is easy to read as it is swivels to the direction you need it. Glad I chose this one.
I've had mine for about 2.5/3 years now and for the past 2 months it's been randomly falling off the vent now (the part the clasps to the vent is no longer a tight fit, so any road bump the whole thing falls off) so I'm retiring it. The day my mom bought hers it broke completely by the end of the day.
Pictures of the item are not updated. It uses the updated vent clamp mechanism which doesn't work in either of my cars. I was looking for the older version of this car mount.
I just bought it, and it looks wonderful, it holds my phone well, but as a person who has never had to put one together, the instruction manual was completely incorrect and i had to figure out how to put it together/ keep it on my vent so that my phone wouldnt possibly fall off. Its easy! But absolutely nothing like how it directs on the instruction sheet
Dock arrived missing pieces. Won't be buying from Walmart for a while.
I bought this for my new 2016 Ford Focus and put it on my airvents like any normal person buying this item. Then quickly realized by testing it that it just slips off my vents with the weight of my phone. My car's vents are shaped vertically and the holders clasp does not provide support for vertical vents, only horizontal; this is not stated in the item description. I am returning this as a frustrated customer.
