when the toy box was delivered it had a large tear on the box and I was afraid it was damaged. they packed it with enough Styrofoam that it was well protected and no damage at all. they also made extra end protectors out of cardboard onto the shipping box. very well protected for delivery. after I unpacked the toy box for assembly I noticed all parts of the toy box was all 1/2 inch thick wood nice and strong not flimsy except for the back panel at 1/8 inch. the toy box does look like some type of pressed wood but it is not cheap, it will last. all visible parts of the toy box is painted white and it would be easy to decorate the toy box if you wanted to. the toy box came with nice easy instructions. all you need is a Phillips head screwdriver. I took my time and put it together in under 15 minutes. everything lined up perfectly to assemble the toy box. the screws went right in with no problem. after assembly the toy box feels nice and sturdy. all the shelf's and sides are nice and level. this toy box is very well made in the factory. in short easy to put together, well made, strong, solid, level and square. I will have to keep the IRIS brand in mind when buying similar items because of this toy boxes quality.
I love the toy organizer. This is a sturdy shelf as well. I home school my grandson and I'm using the toy organizer as a book shelf. There is still room at the bottom for small toys. I put his math counters on the bottom shelf and reading/storybooks in the middle. The top shelf I use for his study/assignment books. It helps me keep his things organized. It's a nice looking shelf.
The Iris Toy organizer is a useful addition for storage in our household. Our toddler has so many books and it is hard to keep track of them all. I love that this unit is his size and he can access the titles that he wants on his own. Putting the books back in an orderly fashion is another story, but that is of no fault to the organizer itself. We store larger books lying horizontally on the bottom shelf because they would not fit otherwise and sometimes the bottom lip of the shelf becomes a nuisance because it is hard to remove the books from the bottom of the pile when the lip gets in the way, but overall it is not a huge hindrance. In the future we will probably use it to store toys or balls when we get a larger bookshelf, but currently this unit is serving its purpose well. One thing to take note of is that the organizer is advertised to have a colored interior. Pink for girls and blue for boys. The one we received is white inside and out. I am ok with that because this matches well with our other furniture, but if you are looking for something that will give your nursery a pop of color make sure you pick the right one before you purchase!
I love this toy organizer because it is just the right size and height for a toddler (2 -4 year old) to reach and store their own toys. It is very sturdy and super easy to put together. It comes with complete instructions with pictures to help you along. Only a screwdriver needed to assemble it. In the picture it shows the inside aqua, but mine was completely white. It would be easy to paint if you wanted color added. The shelves are wide enough for toys or books. Would not tip over easy, too heavy. In the pictures I put the organizer next to the door so you could see how tall it was.
I am loving this small, but sturdy organizer. I am currently using it to store my toddler's toys and her miscellaneous items. It doesn't take up too much space and fits perfectly in perfectly with her room décor. Organizer came in the mail. I was able to install by myself in about 15 minutes. The material is sturdy and the shelving seems to be able to hold a good amount of weight. Even though it seems like it would be heavy, it is not! I was also able to bring it down to my toddler's room with no problem by myself. I did do some rearranging of her room and was able to pick organizer up (with everything out of it) and move around with no issues. Super cute for anyone looking for a small organizer!
This IRIS USA, Inc toy organizer has been a perfect addition to my son's room. It is a great size for a children's room. I have placed it between two beds and used it as a nightstand/ bookshelf/ toy bin. It works great. It is the perfect size for younger kids and is lightweight and easy to move. It seems well made and sturdy. It was very easy to asdemble and came with instructions. It isn't huge buy it can hold quite a bit. We have books and toys in it. It is a great spot for smaller toys or stuffed animals. We especially like using the bottom bin as catch all for pretty much anything. My kids can daily pick up their rooms quickly and place their toys. We have really enjoyed also using it as a place for bedtime books. I don't know what we did without this toy organizer. I would recommend to everyone. It would be a great addition to any nursery or kids room.
I received the IRIS USA, Inc. Toy Organizer for free with the Walmart Spark Reviewer Program. Saying this is a toy organizer is a joke, unless you are using this to store Lego's or other very small objects. This organizer is TINY! When the box was delivered I assumed the longer line of the box was the width. Nope, it was the length! With that being said, the quality of the product is exceptional. Very sturdy manufactured wood. This item came with very clear easy to follow instructions and aligned pre drilled holes. I had the organizer put together is under 15 minutes. The worst part of putting this organizer together was (believe it or not) ... the glue . The glue bottle was cheap and when I squeezed it into the seams of the back panel like illustrated the top of the bottle kept popping off. Very annoying. The product description when I picked this item out showed the item to be white and teal blue, but the product I received was only white. Which I actually prefer. Due to its size I am not using this product as a toy organizer but in my laundry room to put my laundry products in. I was looking for a small bookcase for this space, but this organizer will fit the bill.
The IRIS USA, Inc. Toy Organizer is perfect for storing a few toys and books. It is a small storage organizer. It is about 27 inches high, 16 inches wide and about 15 inches deep. The top shelf can hold items and the two shelves within the organizer offer storage as well. At almost 20 pounds, it is very easy to move around. I use mine for toy storage, but it would also make a great shoe storage bin. It is made of wood that can easily be wiped clean. My shelf is white, but it also comes in blue and pink. There is another taller version of this shelf as well. It is very sturdy. I found it difficult to put together.
We needed some furniture for our daughter's room, my husband wanted just a bookcase but this combo bookcase/toy tub works out nicely. It arrived in excellent shape, because it was packed very well. My husband and I put it together pretty quickly in about 30 minutes, he have some experience so it was easy. It's sturdy, it's beautiful, it's definitely white though, bright white for sure. It will look good in both boys or girls room. The functionality with top, shelf and open drawer allow ability to store and display numerous toys and other items. On top I like to put napkins or a glass of water for the night, since we put this organizer next to bed, on the shelf I like to keep books and in the drawer I put small toys and something that don't have to stand upright. Overall I'm satisfied with this toy organizer and my daughter as well. Her room looks more organized and neat now.
Overall, I am really happy with this toy organizer. The quality is really nice and it was super easy to put together – I think this will hold up nicely for many years! I love the color – it matches everything and looks really great! I love the angled storage bin on the bottom – while it's a little small, it fits stuffed animals perfectly and is easy for my son to get his animals in and out of the bin easily on his own. The top shelf is great for small toys or books – and I love that I can make use of the top of the unit for extra toys or décor items. It would be great if it was a little taller and had an extra shelf, but other than that it's really great and works fine for our needs. Its footprint is pretty compact so I could see myself buying a 2nd one to double the amount of storage. It doesn't take up much space in the room so I love that. I would highly recommend this toy organizer to anyone that needs an affordable, high quality storage unit for toys!
