I was afraid to purchase this because some of the reviewers said they received the wrong color. I guess the company fixed the problem. I did get the pink one as ordered. Glad I took the risk. Our 2 gerbils fit perfect. My 2 1/2 year old daughter loves to carry them around the house in this. The only problem I have with this is the bottle. It is not the kind with the ball in it. As soon as the gerbils bump their backs on the nozzle they get wet.
I ordered a PINK one and got a BLUE one. I wish I would have gotten the right color. However, it's really cute and it has a tiny water bottle with it. It's perfect for my kid to tote around a hamster! Her hamster "Nugget" seems to like it.
My daughter fell in love with this carrier the minute she saw it online. Her mouse, Nancy, just had to have it. At first it seemed a bit flimsy, and I was worried it'd break, but it hasn't yet. It definitely serves its purpose. She is now able to "travel" around the house with her mouse, and her "waste" is finally contained. Woohoo! I'd buy it again.
My sugarglider loves it and now im buying a pink one for my other sugarglider lol
I foster new born kittens for the SPCA. With no mother cat in the picture I do the feedings around the clock. I sometimes need to seperate the kittens so they don't try to nurse on each other. Once the kittens mark a small male they can do great damage if allowed to nurse on him. These work great. For the small price I get big value. I have 6 and can line them up on my counter for easy use. With the baby safe inside I can leave the top open for viewing, as many people drop by when word is out I have new kittens. With the top closed they do not get a draft since the holes or open slots are at the top. I can set them on the floor and the cool or warm air passes across the top for good venting. Easy to wipe clean, change the bedding and replace baby with a full tummy.
For the price this is an excellent carrier. Even though it is made for a hamster, my daughter uses it for her chinchilla. She loves to bring her pet everywhere and this works great for her. It comes with a water bottle that snaps into one of the sides. The only problem with the water bottle is that it mounts on the inside of the carrier, so it tends to get knocked around alot by the pet, but for the small size animal it was intended for, I could see how it could be useful. My daughter is happy with it so I am too.
I ordered Blue and they sent Pink. Too Small.
Was not happy when I received this in the mail. 1. I found it under the DOG category and was looking for a plastic carrier for mine 2. Not specified in description that is for hamsters or gerbils 3. The dimensions are miss leading as the product doesn't measure to any of them in any way shape or form if it was the size the dimensions said it was she would have fit in it. Did not read the reviews because I did not feel that I needed to with the fact that it was suppose to be a certain size and was in the category for the pet that I was shopping for. I think they need to redo this and put in there saying that it is specifically for the animal it is to be used for and fix the dimensions. I put that I would recommend to a friend but only if they own a hamster or gerbil.
The dimension on the item description are wrong; This product is a lot smaller. Nice for a mouse, hamster or gerbil I returned as I picked it up on the store
Well the product appears to be good quality and durable and has a great price. Unfortunately I was sent a pink one, not blue one like I ordered. And I'm not sure if I read it was specifically for hamsters so of course my male guinea pig does not fit.
