Just a two person family in an apartment which mean not actual hard wood, and I use a splash of the cleaner probably half to a single whole cap full because ... well the floor may not be able to handle actual hard cleaners and it does a great job.
Glad to see the old solution is finally back at the store. Thank you for listening to your customers.
I like this cleaning solution. My floors shine and the scent is not over powering. You only need 2 cap fulls of the solution. Someone stated in their review it took six. Not sure where that came from. The instructions clearing state 2 cap fulls. I love this product and buying it again.
I mop about every other day but do not go more than every 3 days. It says 6 capfuls and I don't understand how people are saying the solution doesn't last. I dont measure by capfuls I fill the reservoir almost up then pour the solution rest of the way. I haven't tested how long a bottle lasts but if I can get a month or more for only 8$ and me not physically doing it, is as good as finding the dryer empty!! I moved in my new home and have only used my roomba and braava jet to clean. Due to disability i can not stand long, these 2 robots have saved my sanity when it comes to cleaning. My kids hate it when i say I'm vacuuming and mopping and not to bother me. Lol
The mop as well as the cleaning solution, are both great. I've owned all mops iRobot has released and this is by far the best. Don't buy the others, save your money and buy this one. As for the cleaning solution, it works great. It does not leave streaks nor does it have a detectable scent, and I too have allergies. I have laminate flooring through out my house, both light and dark colored. I use a very small amount of this solution and fill the rest with purified water. It seems to do the trick. Highly recommend.
We have three dogs that shed constantly, so both the Roomba and the Braava are used frequently. Both do a great job, even when it's wet and muddy outside and the dogs leave footprints inside. The bottle of cleaner doesn't last long with our use - wish it came in a larger size, with a measuring cap set to the quantity for refilling the tank - 6 capfuls is a hassle.
I have 3,000 sq ft floor living space, vinyl flooring, it cleans beautifully with no streaking. Just wish it was easier to put into holding tank, there should be a funnel for easy filling of the floor cleaner. Other than that it's great!!!
I can't recommend this product because the accessories (cleaning solution) are not economical for a busy household. I don't use the M6 Bravo Jet as much as I thought I would because the cleaning solution isn't cheap and comes in a small bottle. It takes 6 cap fulls Each time I fill the tank. On this alone I do not recommend the M6. If iRobot did offer a more economical solution then I would recommend this robot.
I'm pretty happy with my iRobot products since I have a fair amount of uncarpeted floor space on the main floor of my house. I've certainly made my money back in reduced house cleaner calls. My primary problem with this product is the Braava Jet solution comes in a single use virgin plastic bottle that is destined eternal life in a landfill or the ocean. Couldn't iRobot use recycled plastic for these bottles? Or accept bottle returns for refills? This bottle could be used fifty times, but there is no way to get it refilled. Get it together iRobot, you easily have the power to make your products more environmentally friendly. Until then, I'm getting my floor cleaning solution from Truman's.
Cleans well but you only get enough for 2 uses with the Braava Jet and a 16 oz bottle is good for 8 uses. First bottle took 13 days to get here and have been unable to order any more for 2 months. Always on back order.
