I cannot believe how much dirt this picks up DAILY. I am very glad I got it and would definitely recommend it. Works great although you really have to watch loose cords, curtains etc. It found loose cords I didn't know I had.
It's awesome! A friend finally convinced me to try it and I am not disappointed. It does a fantastic job even though my dog sheds a lot.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I run this Romba in my office. My chocolate lab sleeps there too. There's heavy accumulation of dark brown pet hair around the crate. Roomba picks up all that pet hair and keeps my office vacuumed and pet hair-free. I like that when I get up in the morning I can turn her on, and when I come back in, my office is nice and vacuumed. It would be a nice feature to add a scheduler ability as well, so it can initiate on its own. A larger debris bin would also be a nice addition.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] IRobot Roomba 614 makes it easier to maintain a healthy happy quality home. I was not aware of this product before recieving it, I would use a traditional vacuum that I would have to use several times a day to keep my home clean. I love how convenient this product is, I was expecting somethong smaller and was pleasently surprised how big this robotic vacuum is the dimensions are 36 inches in height and 13.4 inches in width the depth of this product measures 13.4 as well with a total weight of about 8Lbs. The battery life of this robotic vacuum is very pleasing as well as charging time. This vacuum used a lithium ion rechargeable battery. I love that this robotic vacuum is bagless and easy to detach and throw away any trash it picks up. I love that this product comes with many accessories from cleanong tools, filter and self charging base that isa traditional plug that plugs on wall. I would greatly recommend this product to others this vacuum picks up alot of dirt and debris. I would definately purchase this product and future irobot roomba products. (Lights up green when fully charged) (lights up orange when charging) has a nice modern finish and a nice wheel balance from carpet to tile.
I'm in love!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Roomba! I have 8...yes 8 kitties in a one bedroom apartment...and needless to say I had to vacuum manually almost daily...but I couldn't vacuum daily due to work etc. Hair would thus sometimes built up on rugs and floors. Finally, I decided to buy this Roomba! Oh my goodness! What a blessing! I set it loose everyday and Roomba runs round the entire apartment cleaning every inch that it can get to! Best part it goes UNDER THE SOFA and Dressers and Beds where I normally don't get to vacuum regularly but where some cats like to hide! OH MY! The hair Roomba picked up in the first few days was scary! So much! I had to empty the tray several times...but that was FINE WITH ME! Now after a few days of letting Roomba loose on a daily basis it is picking up a lot but not requiring multiple cleanings. It goes from rugs to tile floors to the bathroom tiles with ease! It climbs over rugs and floor mouldings between rooms with no problem! I love it!!! It saves me time and my place has never been cleaner! It's healthier for me and for my kitties too! Less dander on the floor and in the air. Best purchase I ever made! Highly recommended!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice addition to our cleaning tools. Setup was a breeze, I had the Roomba up and running in a matter of minutes. I was also impressed at its ability to navigate the floor plan and go in between rooms and floor types. We have a pretty open floor plan and it went back and forth in between rooms pretty easily. Where I think it fell short was its ability to deep clean the entire area, after it was done I saw some spots in corners where there was dust/crumbs that I would have assumed it would pick up. The last part I didn't expect was that there is a decent amount of thought that needs to go into running it. You should remember to move chairs off the floor to clean effectively and you have to remember empty the filter after almost every use. I assumed it was more "set it and forget it." The one unexpected benefit was entertainment value. Our kids played with the "robot" for over an hours as it ran. Didn't even think of that as a possibility, but they continually ask us to turn the robot on so they can play with it.

He cleans very effectively and can even get under hard to reach areas that we sometimes forget about (like under the couch and entertainment console!). Picks up plenty of pet hair (especially that of a 90lb black Lab)! Even though I had just vacuumed thoroughly only a few days before, the first time I used Roomba he ended up picking up a ton of pet hair. I can hit the button and walk away and let Roomba do his thing. He doesn't crash into furniture and cause damage, but lightly bumps and re-navigates. I will say that Roomba is on the loud side but by the second and third time using him, I didn't really notice anymore. He doesn't like to crawl on to our thicker pile rugs and seems to navigate away from them. Once he does get up there, he get's stuck. So, not best for thick or furry rugs but amazing on hard woods and tile! Roomba will be changing the way we do house work, that's for sure! Very excited about anything that helps with keeping floors clean especially with a pet! Definitely will help maintain the cleanliness of our floors (although our big baby is a little afraid of Roomba). I've actually already recommended Roomba to several people and we have had him less than a week!
It cleans so 4 stars. I had to tape the sensors so it would go over black areas of my rug. I also taped a plastic cup on the top so it would not go under a credenza. I was surprised at how often one has to replace brushes filters and batteries. Not sure I like that. I've only used it twice so far and it cleans and that is what I wanted
