I love coming home to a vacuumed apartment and the self emptying feature is really nice. I don't even have to be there to get it to work and I can do additional functions remotely.
My old off brand vacuum died so I got on the website and purchased this one. I love it! Better than the last one and I love that I'm not constantly hunting it down to empty out the waste.
Love it! Was surprised how well it worked. It ran for over 3 hours with multiple empties in between. With a large “open” concept home, it really did the job.
This unit is quieter, has rubber brushes so the dog hair doesn't clog them up daily (ever really), and the self emptying is a nice feature! It seems to clean more effectively too since it cleans in lines rather than bouncing all over the room. The self emptying sound is alarming at first, but it's quick.
I bought my first one in 2012. It would bounce around and did a fair job. Lots of days looking for it because it didn't return to port. This new one is such an improvement! It does not constantly bounce off furniture. It systematically cleans with a definite pattern that cleans the entire area! Love it!
I love my iRobot. He gets the job done every time. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants cleans floors. We have a small home and run iRobot 2-3 times a week. I love the app. I can start a vacuum job from work and when I get home, the house is vacuumed!
We just bought our second Roomba, with a self-emptying bin. We moved the first Roomba upstairs (because it wasn't time to decommission it yet; it's five years old but it still does a terrific job picking up the Labrador's hair--even--especially--under the beds)! I love them both and I can't imagine life without them. I'd have to go back to pushing the vacuum around every day... no way.
It keeps glitching half way though the job, doesn't seem to vacuum with any semblance of order which makes it take longer, and is equal to loudness of regular vacuum. If you schedule it to vacuum while everyone is out, it's nice. But if you work from home, expect it to go all day long to do whole house.
It cleans fine. Navigation is insane. It cleans part of a room then goes to another room, cleans, goes somewhere else, then returns to a place it left off. All the running around makes it unable to complete the job without going back to charge. Define barely could be better.
I have always wanted a Roomba for years. Finally decided to buy myself one and purchased this one. It has been the worst buy of my life. You are better off buying a 200 dollar walmart smart vaccuum, I spend more time fixing errors with this vaccuum than it does doing its job, from it saying dust bin is full which its not to not detecting ledges. Design is flawed as it gets dust inside to cover infared sensors thinking bin is full which you have to take it apart to fix unless you are lucky enough to be able to get all dust out with a can of air. I feel like I would spend less time just vaccuuming the floor myself. Save your money dont buy it, glad I got it on sale and saved 200 dollars but still sad and disappointed of all they hype for for a machine that has so may issues.
