This is our first Robot Vacuum and before I had the handheld one. This definitely is a time saver and all the trouble you have to go through with a handheld vacuum. The suction is good, but after running this twice with two pass setting, I was still able to pick some (Minimal) dirt with the handheld vacuum. We don't have any pets. The smart mapping function is a genius. It covers the whole area and never got stuck. The battery could be improved, but it is intelligent enough to resume vacuuming after its charged. Overall I like the product and think could be improved in certain areas. It is definitely not a replacement to your handheld vacuum but, a substitute.

It only took my roomba about 4 practice clean runs to map out my whole house. The barrier is great for not having roomba go into unwanted rooms or to place a protective barrier around an area. I love that I can communicate with roomba even when I am at work using the app. The mapping system makes roomba run more efficiently and my husband enjoys the option of scheduling our roomba to run when we aren't home. This roomba is by far the best one yet. It has yet to get stuck on anything and cleaning is a breeze. I love my roomba and I would recommend it to everyone!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this product on a daily basis, this product is very easy to use through ibot robot app also very easy to work with Alexa, by just enabling ibot roomba in alexa app, I got this ibot roomba going in 10 minutes. It has a sleek modern design and charging station plugs in wall with 2 prong cord. It easily works under furniture like table& chairs, dressers etc. As at times these are very hard to reach places. It also comes with a small battery device that can detour roomba away from precious items or go around. The dirt bin is a bit small and needs constant attention throughout the day but this product does very large spaces with a run time of about 80 mins. I love this device has some replacements parts because aftertime parts start to get dirty & clumps of hair so I am very happy I can replace these aftertime. I love you can scedule a time for ibot roomba to clean, as well as create your own preferences like cover areas once or twice or automatic. You can activate smart maps for this device to get use to you home and area. I love you can also locate roomba as well You can also see your history of issues or started, cancelled etc. Jobs. I would definately recommend this product to others
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Roomba® i7 7150 Wi-Fi® Connected Robot Vacuum is the best home appliance that I have ever received. It easily connects to my phone. I can set my Irobot via bluetooth, to clean specific rooms any time of the day! I have never experienced such a cool device. Cleaning my floors is so easy , with the irobot my floors stay clean all day long. Sweeping and vacuuming are such extremely time consuming chores. My household duties are cut in half now. I am so grateful for receiving my irobot up review. I love everything about it.
The i7 is used at least once a week. There are only 2 people in our household and no pets. The i7 does a good job of coverage and seems to clean well. My biggest complaint is that it doesn't clean long before stopping with a message that the bin needs cleaning, yet there is not much in the bin. The filter MUST be cleaned every time or the i7 will not last more than a minute or two. I do not have the external bin, but I'm not sure I believe that it would help because the internal bin isn't close to being full when, no more than 10% full, when the Roomba will stop and demand that the bin is cleaned. The Roomba was rebooted once when it kept giving an error message that the battery was not charged. The reboot fixed the issue.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my robot vacuum! it makes life so much easier! I love using the app to program it too. I set it up to vacuum every morning while I get ready for I day, my house has never been cleaner. it does get stuck occasionally under some furniture but it shuts itself off and alerts me of the problem on the app and some really small debris it want pick up. it's really made my life easier not having to drag my upright vacuum out and spend all that time cleaning, which, lets be honest, was NOT happening even close to every day. I also love the fact that I don't have to be home to vacuum, and that it self charges. I really do love my new best friend the Terminator!
I have been disappointed with this product. The bin fills very quickly when cleaning our new rug. It leaves a row of debris where the rug and hardwood floor meet. The robot does not go to the docking station correctly so it is not charging when it should be.
I've had the i7 Robot Vacuum for a year and I am so disappointed with this product. I ordered it thinking it would be an upgrade from my previous Eufy and boy was I wrong. The main reason I wanted this product was to help keep my house free of pet hair. I have 2 dogs, a Pitbull and a Doberman, so their hair is short. I never had issues with my previous Eufy as far as dog hair, it was just an older model and needed to upgrade. Cons: The i7 is a lot louder, dog fur gets stuck between the silicone brushes and it is left in piles everywhere, the bin is never full because it's all stuck between the brushes. I never had that problem with the Eufy. The majority of my house is hardwood floors, so it's not even like it gets stuck because of carpet. When I contacted customer support, all they had as a solution was a guide on how to properly clean it, which I had already done. The i7 is also higher, so it doesn't fit under a lot of my furniture (like the couches). Pro: The only feature I like is the mapping app and being able to start a job from my phone. But, I'm sure the newest Eufy product would have that as well. In conclusion, if you have pets and that is your main reason for looking for a robot cleaner, I would suggest you look elsewhere.
Received as a Christmas Gift Dec. 2018 and have been using it daily but still need to go over it with an upright vacuum because all it does is spread the fur around the house in clumps. I clean the bin and robot daily and still no improvement. Worthless on carpet however great on low rise doormats and bare floors. Not what we got it for though, carpet and pet hair.
My iRobot worked decently for 2 months and suddenly it is telling me I need a subscription! The company just confirmed it but it doesn't say anywhere that it won't work without a subscription! Now I have a really expensive door stop!! If this specific robot needs a subscription to work, it should specifically say that. So basically false advertising!
