Great value. This is very sturdy and comfortable. It takes about an hour to assemble. The computer has all the features you'd want from a gym-quality bike. My only complaint is that adjusting the seat is a little difficult. I am 6'0" 235lbs and this is great for me. At this price, this is bike to get.
I am so picky and I know what I want, so it's only natural for me to read up on every product before I buy. I looked over every bike on here ,compared features , read all the reviews here and else where, and decided that the Ironman 125 upright was the one to get. It IS quiet!! That was a big issue with me because I live in an apartment so I needed something that didn't make noise because I exercise late at night. I love that I can check my heart rate with the handle bar grips (that was one of the main reasons I picked this particular one.) Also , the price. I didn't want to spend over $200 dollars. I got it while it was on "roll back" for $133 (was $196!). I paid a total of $170.12 with taxes and shipping. Oh yeah , it only took 2 days to get here. I didn't even upgrade to the "fast shipping". The monitor is big , the buttons are big and it's easy to work. You can set it for how long you want to ride , how many miles you want to do , target heart rate , and how many calories you want to burn. Once you reach each one , it will beep to let you know. For example , I set the time for 20 mins, resistance on #3 , and the miles to 3 miles. Every time I finished a mile , it beeped. After the 3rd beep , I still had a little over 5 mins on the clock but I stopped. I had completed my 3 miles , I hit a heart rate of 123 and I was sweating up a storm. I got a good workout in about 15 mins!! That was just my first day on it. I was excited and wanted to try it out already. :p I plan on using it 5 days a week and set it on 30 mins/ 4 miles. Assembling it wasn't so bad. It took me an hour. The instructions are step by step and they even have drawings for ya. I highly recommend this Ironman exercise bike. I love it. If people wouldn't stare,I'd marry it ,<-Yeah I just said that. It's so quiet!!!!! :)
I have to admit for the price you cannot beat this item. The bike is everything I read, built well with the exception of one small piece. Be careful when installing tension bar, there is a long screw that gets screwed to a piece of plastic and if not careful will snap off. Other than that, the bike is great. the display panel is nice and large anyone can see and read legibly. The seat is large enough compared to other bikes I researched. Don't expect bells and whistles with this bike, its a basic upright bike. I have already recommended the Ironman recumbant bike to a friend. One last important thing: The manufacturer went out of business and if you need parts, go to your local Walmart store, you will not be able to get parts on the 800 number they provide...Enjoy!
I RECOMMENDED THIS PRODUCT BECAUSE IT DOESN'T MAKE TO MUCH NOISE AND IT TOOK ME ONE HOUR TO ASSEMBLED AND THE DISPLAY IS VERY EASY TO READ.
great product! I an an older lady and got this so I would not have to walk in the winter to keep fit. This is the perfect solution. not hard to assemble.
I've been using this bike during the last few weeks, mostly on rainy days, to keep up in shape. The bike is a simple but great piece of equipment for the price. It works great, was easy to assemble, and is fairly easy to adjust. If your looking for a bike that has all the electronic bells and whistles... this one is not for you. If your looking for a simple piece of equipment to use and get some good exercise, it definitely will get the job done.
if you think twice in doing outdoor exercise this machine will be helpful enough to get your aerobic exercise....
Very quiet, do not need to turn up tv when using. I also like that all the packing materials it came in are recyclable. Assembly was just ok.
The height control knob for the seat was broken. Also they did not drill a hole in the support tube so you could attach the electronic control box. When I called the 800 # the man on the phone told me Ironman was out of business and they would not help me. I returned this piece of junk to Wal Mart.
I was very happy with the bike for 10 days. It broke internally and I was unable to get it repaired because the company had gone into bankruptcy
