I bought 2 - 16 piece sets. One set had a broken plate and I had to return it for replacement. Walmart handled that very smoothly. The dishes are really nice and are bigger than they look. Would recommend these dishes to everyone. Our family likes the outdoors and these respresent the reflections of the outdoors.
This is a wonderful dish set. The colors, the weight, the curve of the plates, the capacity of the bowls, the tropical design that seems like your eating a meal in hawaii or fuji just adds to the overall attrativeness to this set. Great in the dishwasher and microwave this will be the only set I hope to use for years to come. Highly recommended.
I have had these plates for over a year now. I love the design, they are so pretty. They are very "natural" looking and are superb for those of us that are nature lovers. My only complaints about the set is that #1: they are expensive (for a setting of 4), #2: The plates chip easily and #3: I personally hate how dish sets have mugs included (but most sets have this). For people like myself who don't ever use mugs I am buying basically 4 bowls, 4 plates and 4 small plates which for the price seems like a lot to me. Overall, I would say that I really like this set and so far I have spent close to $100.00 to get a place setting for 12.
I love this Island pattern on the 16 piece dinnerware dishes that I recieved. I get so many compliments on them. I ordered two sets and ordering another one for my Mom. When she seen them she loved them as well. I recommend this set for Summer entertaining for sure or year round.
These dishes are definintely for the person that's looking for a lodge-style look. The back of the dishes are black so they go with our black appliances and green/black countertops but also with our rustic log-cabin style of home. I love them and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for this style!!
I bought these dishes almost a year ago and managed to break one plate. I looked everywhere for another set and found them on walmart.com They are not only very nice looking but very durable in regards to use and cleaning (we use a dishwasher). I plan on ordering another set to have "just in case" because I love them so much!!!
These dishes will go with a neutral decor. They are extremely durable and are heavy. They are oversized, I personally like to eat off the smaller plate while my husband prefers the large. The cups are also very large for you coffee lovers. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a nice, affordable set of dishes.
First of all they are nice dishes. They are just not what i expected firstly by color and secondly by size. The bigger plates are HUGE. Also i notice that when you put pressure from the knife to cut something, the plate is not that stable. I also thought that they would have a less beige tone to them. They looked more blush mixed tint to me in the pictures. The coloring is also not perfect but then again you get what you pay for. These sets are considered in the cheaper average range. So i guess the imperfections I can live with. I'll have to see how they are in half a year to really know how good they are.
These dishes were a big disappointment. There were many flaws/spots in the glaze and the dishes tend to chip very easily. I question the microwave safe claim as they get extremely hot in the microwave. The glaze is getting more hazy and dull the more I use them. I was not happy with the overall quality of these plates.
I got these plates about 6 months ago. I like them a lot, they are nice heavy plates. They are a good large size plate and the smaller plates, bowls and mugs are great too. The only negatives about these dishes is that everytime you slightly bump them they chip. This happens alot. Even when bumping against an older set of dishes that i have (the older dishes won't chip but these do). The plates are also rounded so if you try to cut or press to pick up any food on the edges (not in the very center) of the plate, the plate will flip. They do look like the pictures though.
