I thought that it charges iPad or apple devices but it only plays the music amazing sound at top sound on batteries love it just got it tonight.
I love the iPad stand feature of this product. Unlike other iPad stands, this one holds the iPad nicely about 10cm above the table surface, which gives a good height for watching your ipad. It can also tilt to any angles as needed. I put it in a corner of my kithen with a small plant aside, looks nice! The sound of the speaker is great quality too for its $14.98 price and Canada is 5 bucks more. Compared with those 20buck iHome speakers, it's way more a better deal. It works with batteries as well as DC input. Unfortunately, DC adaptor is not included. Good news is 4 AA batteries seem to last forever.
I got this so I could better hear movies I watch on my iPad. The sound is great but the stand is not very stable and does not hold my iPad very well. Even when it is tightly screwed it just does not support the weight of the iPad and for that, I'm giving it 3 stars. If it supported the iPad better it would get 5 stars all the way.
