i don't like Bar-B-Q sauce... except this one! it is just the right mix of spice and whatever makes a great sauce. As you can tell, I have never made it because I never could get it right. I have been to all the popular bbq places in KC, and to me, this beats them all!
I usually buy this from Sams club, but it was too much and i was having to freeze the rest. This is perfect, i add more bbq sause after cooking as well. Sure you get 1-2 SMALL fatty parts, but what meat doesnt have alittle fat? It doesnt ruin it, just "oh thats fat" and pull it out. I will always buy this, its soo good and ive served these pulled pork sandwiches at a party and everyone loved them!
Picked up my Walmart cart order and I notice this wasn't included in my order but they took my money for it and never notified me it wasn't in my cart.
There is no way that there was 1 pound of BBQ. I don't even think there was 1/2 lb. and for $11.00 it is just not worth it. I am on a fixed income and was hoping to get 2 meals out of it for my husband and me. I cannot show you how it looks because I am 72 years old and don't know how to do that.
I was excited to try this but once I heated it up and saw the meat inside i was sad. Pulled pork is usually strands of pork. This was huge chunks or wads of meat. The sauce is OKAY but it is sweeter than i expected. I would not purchase again and i would not recommend this to anyone.
Looks, tastes, and smells like dog food. It’s way too sweet and saucy. Do not recommend. Also, there is way too much packaging for how much meat you get.
I bought this once long ago and it has really changed for the worse. First off, I found huge globs of fat. had to pull them out, enough for a sandwich right there. Second, sugar must be on sale, because they dumped a couple pounds into this sauce. I couldn't finish one sandwich. Nothing but expensive garbage.
No pulled pork and bags. Customer Service would not get the Pick-up people to answer the phone driver stayed to try to resolve the missing items. Please deliver tomorrow morning they are charged.
First of all, the packaging is deceptive. You think there's plenty of barbecue in there when there's really not. There's a ton of barbecue sauce and several grisly fat pieces. I would say maybe 50% of the product is actual meat to eat. This was extremely disappointing, and will never buy this again.
I purchase 13 lbs of this for a party and had to sort through each package to break up the huge globs of meat and pick out the pieces of gristle. What was supposed to be a convenience was anything but. Below is a sample of the gristle that I pulled out of the somewhat pulled pork.
