Good snack prouduct for a reasonable price I never really cared for beef jerky but the beef sticks are really good I work in Afghanistan supporting the military and we all eat these things.
This is our favorite easy, on-the-go snack for the kids sporting events or active days. I love that it's quick and has protein to give them energy. Our whole family loves them.
I have ordered the Jack Links Original Beef Sticks Individually wrapped, but when I went to re-order them, they were a lot higher than I originally purchased. I looked at the Jack Link's Original Beef Stocks 9-Ct and they were much more reasonable than the individually packaged Beef Sticks. I believe they are more favorable than the individually packaged sticks and seem to have less salty taste. I will order these again in a heart beat - if they remain the same price!

I really like Jack Link's products. When I was a child and young person we would sometimes get jerky at the store which seemed many times to taste like salty, sawdusty cardboard. Jack Link's products are different. They are moist, chewy and flavorful. This product is no exception. The beef sticks taste somewhat like salami, maybe pepperoni. They are spicy but I don't think overly hot. They are moist and tasty. As is common for this type of product they are somewhat greasy and salty. (Not so greasy as to to seem to be bad quality, just the typical amount for this type of food.) We all know in my family that when we get jerky-type products we should get Jack Link's. To me, no other brand (that we have tried) is even worth eating, unless it is jerky from the butcher shop or some other special meat preparer. But when we buy jerky from the grocery store, we get this brand. We buy it sometimes for gifts. Children, teenagers and other meat lovers seem to like them. (Just to be clear, this product is not jerky, it is a product somewhat like pepperoni sticks.) This product may be a little on the high side as far as price. But as I said, they are way better than other products I have tried.

Great flavor; a bit on the greasy and salty side, although in fairness, the salt is what helps them keep their shelf life. I've tried a LOT of meat snacks in my lifetime, and these are the ones I always come back to. They are moist, unlike the S***J** brand that seems to be desiccated. The .8 ounce sticks are the perfect size, while other brands have much smaller sticks. I have to buy through walmart.com as my local Walmart store seemingly never has them in stock, despite the shelf tag indicating they should be there.
I used to buy packs of these all the time. They were my favorite. They used to have the ends still joined together. Well, they changed the way these are made. The ends are cut square, and the packaging is different. I'm telling you...they even taste different - not as good. They do not taste the same. These were a staple for me in my backpack during hunting season. Now, I'm trying different brands to find one I like. These are no longer my favorite. They should have left well enough alone.
I made this purchase based on name recognition since i like the turkey jerky they make. These sticks are fatty and have ZERO flavor or spice and are completely bland. If your expecting to bite into these and taste like a convenience store beef stick, they don't .
Ingredients on the picture of the beef sticks show no MSG. When I received both packages I looked on the label and it says MSG? Description also says no MSG. Not good if you are allergic to MSG! please change description so people know what they are really getting! I will not be purchasing these beef sticks again! Straight into the garbage!
