My daughter loves this speaker. Play loud, hooks up via bluetooth as well as aux cord. Waterproof and comes in nice color. Will be getting more for nieces and nephews
JAM HX-P606BL Zero Chill Bluetooth Speaker (Blue), was selected from the Wal Mart Spark Reviewer Program for my honest opinion regarding the product. OMG, I love love love love love this thing. I am a big music person so selecting this portable Bluetooth was the best option for me. It is little but it is loud and well worth it. I love to listen to music while I cook, clean, shower or basically whatever I am doing listening to music is my thing. So the fact that this is little and portable is a big plus. Now as far as the directions for this item does, wow they are straight trash. Someone needs to rethink the directions on this thing. When I got the item I did not see any directions so I did not know there was any. I did not see how to charge this item, no cords, no nothing. It was not until I started messing with the box that I realized the directions was tucked away under the top inside another box. I have still yet to charge this thing since I have received it which is a plus for me. I really have enjoyed it and I would certainly recommend this item to others.
This is a great little speak. I am actually pretty impressed. For starters set up was easy. The most difficult part was pulling the piece off the bottom where all the parts are stored. It was on there pretty snug, so I was almost afraid I was going to break it. However, once I got it off, set up was a breeze. It could get pretty loud too. It was loud enough for all of downstairs to hear it perfectly clear, and it had some really good bass too considering its size. The color is a nice vibrant blue, so it makes it easy to spot amidst all the other electronics, and the big yellow buttons make it easy to push in a hurry. It comes with a cute little loop at the top, so I guess you could hook it to something, but I just use it standing up. Even outdoors it is a nice little addition to liven up a party. This is a fantastic little speaker, and we use it almost every day. We have even used it as sound for some televisions as it's nice to be able to control the volume with your phone, instead of the remote I am always loosing. lolz
I bought this speaker and I honestly thought it would be a little bigger but I love it anyway! The sound is great and the controls are easy and I love the camo pattern.
I love this bluetooth it has great sound! it has a little space in the bottom to charge and put it's charging cable. It is lightweight, water proof. It sounds great. you can put the volume up and down from the bluetooth or from your phone. you can also pause a song if you're on you tube from the bluetooth device. I recommend this product 100%; I loved the quality of it.
This speaker sounds GREAT! I've had several Bluetooth speakers over the years, and this one is by far the best sounding speaker I've heard for it's price point. Its performance matches that of much more expensive speakers costing well over $100 bucks. I would easily compare it's sound quality to that of a Sonos or Bose speaker. It's very loud and clear in comparison to it's small size. Bass is good as well as high notes. The battery lasts forever and can easily be used all day without having to recharge. It's compact and attractive. Eye catching actually. Now here's the bad part. There are 3 buttons on this speaker. There's an 0, an Xz and a center dash button that could be easily confused to not be a button at all. Without reading the instruction manual, it is VERY difficult to operate. Why should I have to take a test before learning how to operate this thing? Completely unnecessary in my opinion. There is no person that could just pick this speaker up and understand how to properly operate it. I tried to connect the speaker to my phone without instructions, and failed miserably. I had to go back and read the instructions. Just make it simple to use and connect. What's the point in making it complicated to use? Other than that, I love this little speaker. It comes in a variety of different colors and is water resistant. Not much else to ask for except for an easier, more intuitive operational process. Id recommend it other than that one major flaw.
JAM HX-P606BL Zero Chill Bluetooth Speaker (Blue). A couple of weeks I received my new JAM HX-P606BL, Speaker. First Impression was very good, the design is very amazing. The color is beautiful, very moderns, and I love the big rubber buttons, they look pretty good. There are some other good points to mention: Weight and size: perfect to carry on or to use at home. Water and dust prove: just perfect to go to the beach or to the pool and not be worry about sand and water. Bluetooth: very easy to pair and about 100ft of range, also you can use it as a Speakerphone and you can also pair 2 speakers at the same time. Battery and Charging: almost a full day of music, 22 Hr of music, and if you run out of batterie, it has a integrated USB charger cable. Unfortunately, not everything is perfect. Sound quality: even though they quality of the sound is very impressive and clear, it doesn't have a incorporated bass, so I was a little disappointed for this reason. Storage lid: It has an incorporated storage, where the charging cable is storage, very smart idea and necessary, but it is extremely difficult to open it, I always ended using my teeth to open it. Apart for these 2 details, is a very good product with a very good quality that I definitely recommend.
JAM Zero Chill Bluetooth speaker is a pretty cool speaker I must say. It is round and is easy to hold, plus it has a little hook on the top, so you can hang it . It has three big orange buttons on the top. There is a set of instructions that comes with the speaker on how to use it. It did not help me much though and I had to additionally google for instructions. The thing is the manual comes without words - just pictures... it is pretty hard to understand without additional explanation. The speaker comes with two cords and bottom compartment that you can store the cords in. Also it it has two jacks - one for charging and one aux to connect the speaker to the phone if needed. The speaker also has a little slot on a side so you can pull the cords through it. When fully charged the speaker can work for 22 hours. I haven't tried to use it for that long nonstop, but it does work long hours. The speaker also gets very loud on maximum volume without extra sounds or vibrations. The sound is pretty clear and sharp. You can also answer phone calls with it which is pretty cool. Overall I think it is a great speaker.
The sound is okay. For the price range, decent. If you're looking for a speaker with pristine quality sound, this is not your speaker. Mid-range is decent. Lower registers sound moderately muted and somewhat buzzy, even on low volume. Upper registers are metallic and sometimes fuzzy. For modern music, it's okay. For classical pieces, not great. (Note, the cylindrical design has the output of the sound opposite of the control buttons.) Very easy to operate. The overall design is poor. While I understand why the charging and aux ports are in the base, I don't like the design of it at all and the lid was extremely difficult to open. The seal was entirely too tight. Mine was glued shut and it took me a good deal of time and some specialty tools - (I work on electronics) to break into it with minimal damage. (None to the seal. Did not affect watertight feature.) The aux cable needs to be at 90 degrees to fully close the lid without causing too much tension at the base of the cord. The supplied aux cable is very short. Since it's Bluetooth, and many people use the Bluetooth more than the aux connection, it shouldn't be that big of a deal. The micro USB cable is also pretty short, which can be easily rectified with a longer one. Battery life is excellent! It lasted longer than 22 hours on a full charge. (For me, it lasted roughly 26 hours at a softer volume.) The manual was well done with picture diagrams and easy to understand. There is an included link to the website to download and read more in-depth on the speaker. Would love to see a redesign on port placement. The material used in the construction of the lid and flap is too flimsy with the seal being as tight as it is. I do not foresee it holding up very long without ripping to where it will no longer be able to be pried open. The rest of the speaker seems to be constructed well and seems durable. Aside the flap and base lid, it should last awhile. I'm conflicted on whether I would recommend to a friend. If they're interested in the speaker for the water resistance feature, then no, I would not. If they're interested in the speaker for high quality sound, at a relatively inexpensive price, then maybe. If they're interested in a speaker that functions as Bluetooth and doesn't care about the water resistant feature and functional sound, then yes, I would recommend to a friend.
