[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These JBL Live 300TWS (Truewireless) have very punchy bass with balanced mids and highs. Just download the JBL app and personalize your own Equalizer to your music. The app also has smart ambient aware and TalkThru, which is very impressive. Phone calls are heard welI. I Love that they are water resistant too. While active workout, the ear buds are very comfortable to me with different size ear pieces and do not seem to fall out of my ear. The battery hours of playing music are excellent with a fast type "C" charging port. Led lights are bright and you also have support choice between voice Google assistant or Amazon Alexa. The touch control works, but a little bit finicky, so it takes some time getting used to. Overall I am very pleased with the sound quality and punchy bass. For the small size they actually sound to me like the equivalence of a bigger set of headphones. My own personal rating, I would rate these JBL Live 300TWS (Truewireless) a "9" (from a score 1-10).
i love these not only the color but the quality of jbl is awesome
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the JBL live 300 TWS a few days ago and I'm amazed by the control I have over the the well made true wireless buds. The app is great. I can change the eq to fit my listening preference that fits my mood. And the two options of Google assistant or Amazon Alexa is amazing. As always JBL never fails at bringing there superior sound to every product. These earbuds are no exception to that. The sound quality is second to none, great bass and treble combine to deliver a perfect clear sound with no distortion.
Best pair of earbuds that I've used. I lost my initial pair, and I loved them so much that I have since bought another pair. Guess what...I lost those too. So, now I have my 3rd pair, and a GPS tracker on them. They provide clear sound, perfect balance of treble with the base, and do a great job at canceling outside sound.
If you're reading this, you probably wonder how a “lesser product” can go toe to toe with a “superior product”? It's simple and I'll cover that in each of the factors I feel are what we're all after when it comes to this now overly saturated category that is “Truly Wireless Sound” or TWS for those in the know. Let's take a look at my top 3 areas of concern: sound quality, fit and ease of use. First is going to be sound quality, aka SQ. This is where it can be a little subjective but all things being equal, the Live 300 do trump the Free X and it is done in two ways. 1) Brute strength. The volume is quite a bit louder here due to a more powerful amplifier. The Free x can leave me wanting a little more volume at times if it's older MP3s or just lower quality media I'm listening to. 2) The overall tuning of the Live 300 are more bass heavy though not to a level that only a bass head could enjoy. Next, let's take a look at fit. This is where it has left me scratching my head and even frustrated at times. With the Live 300s, they are secure in my ears. I never have the fear of them falling out. I went with the medium ear hooks and large tips, for reference if anyone is curious. With that said, after a while, in as little as an hour, ear fatigue can and has set in. I blame the bulkier design if I'm being honest. In comparison, the Free X has a more natural rounded body that require no additional ear hooks, though they do come with plenty of additional pieces for fit, leaving this user with NO such discomfort like the Live 300. So the Free X takes this category. Lastly, we look at ease of use. In order to get the most out of the Live 300s the app is needed. While this enables the ability to update them and fine tune the overall sound, it has left me tinkering instead of listening to my music. In comparison, with my iPhone and my Free X I just open the case put them in, make sure my EQ in my settings is on the “Electronic” option and I go. Simplicity at its best. One glaring issue for this user, you can not listen to the Live 300 with just the left one unless you want to leave the charging case open with the right one in it, as opposed to the Free Xs ability to utilize either earbud for mono sound listening. I'm hoping this is not a hardware limitation so a firmware update can take care of this oversight. At the end of the day, if I was held at gun point and asked to pick between these two options, that being the Free X or the Live 300, I would have to go with the Live 300 due to the better amplifier for more volume. That being said, I still use my Free X often with probably a 50/50 split between the two due to the simple ease of use factor the Free X brings to the table. My suggestion would be to utilize the Free Xs design and usability mated with the Live 300s hardware and app compatibility. That would make a perfect pair of TWS earbuds in my accurate yet humble opinion. That said, the good news is, the Live 300 is another quality product from JBL. It has plenty of power and customization to satisfy a demanding end user yet, simple enough for the masses.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have continued to be impressed and blown away with the technology that JBL comes to the table with. First off, lets talk about comfort. Because at the end of the day, I was trying to find a ear bud that not only stays in my ears during a workout, but also is comfortable. Check! Next sound. Anyone who is looking for quality sound knows that JBL is a leader in the industry, but this product goes a step above. I highly recommend downloading the app so you can enjoy the full experience. What I found was great about this product is the app allows your customize the controls on the headphones, as well as lets you customize sound with your own equalizer, or preset equalizers. Game Changer! The bass and vocal sounds on these ear buds are truly excellent, and you will not be disappointed. Last, style and durability. Obviously you want to look good when you are wearing these, and you will. They are sleek, subtle, and stylish. Very impressed with the look and feel. They have just the perfect weight to them, so you know they are not cheaply made, and have some durability to them, but not to heavy that you feel like they are going to fall out of your ears. Perfect balance of weight and durability.
I love JBL headphones but these were not designed for people with smaller ears. Having changed the tips and the bands to the smallest available they still manage to work their way out while just sitting, definitely cannot wear while exercising, so I'll would suggest the earlier 120 model if you have smaller ears. The sound quality is great, as is the quality. Talking on the phone is clear. The touch sensor is good, though I mostly just use for play/pause and the feature to pause music when the earbud is taken out is nice. Would definitely recommend if you are looking to upgrade.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these earned about a month ago, and so far I love them. They connect well to my galaxy phone as well as my HP laptop. And to be ear buds they have a lot of great touch features. I simply touch the ear pod to answer and hang up calls. I love that it has Google assist and Alexa installed! The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I wish the fit to my ear could be customized. I have small ear canals. Other than that I will purchase these for my hubby!
The left earbud is not working, like it's not flashing and doesn't play any sound. I tried the factory reset so many times but it still doesn't working. And the case is always flashing white.
Although I like the look, feel, and sound, the customer service with the seller AND Walmart on this transaction were absolutely horrible. not only was it very late but neither company cared that it was late, cared to do anything about shipping, wouldnt allow me to return or get any sort of refund. They did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to remedy the matter. Both companies know NOTHING about true customer service. I mean at least cover shipping since it was so late, but, NOPE. not even any kind of offer. I should've ordered directly from JBL. I could've driven anywhere and got it faster myself. absolute trash service.
