I love this stroller. I had this same stroller in orange but it was recently stolen and we ended up ordering this one. I'm not much of a jogger, but my husband and I take our dogs out a lot, along with our son, and the places we take them aren't paved, this Jeep Stroller is perfect for that. The big bicycle wheels and the fixed wheel do a good job of rolling over the various terrain we encounter and with quite a bit of ease. Which is the reason I chose a stroller with a front wheel that doesn't swivel, turning it really isn't that bad, just tilt the wheel up and it turns easily. It performs exactly as I would expect from a Jeep product. The few times I have jogged, this stroller glided effortlessly along pavement and over little bumps, nice smooth ride. I also really like that the canopy unzips so it can be repositioned to keep the sun out of my sons face. The ipod hook up is a nice feature though I never use it, but that compartment is a nice place to keep keys and such. For trips to stores and the like I just bought a cheap umbrella stroller, problem solved.
It's an awesome stroller, exactly what we needed and the price was right.
I purchased this stroller so that I can exercise more and include my daughter in the process. Although she is 4 years old, she is very petite and fits nicely into the stroller. Prior to purchasing this model, I did much research including trying as many out at the store as I possibly could. I am not a jogger, but I enjoy walking and it is just not possible for my daughter to keep up with my husband and I at the pace in which we want to walk. The ibaby music feature is great. It is fine for what we need it for and that's simply listening to music while remaining aware of our surroundings. It is a little tricky to turn as it is not a front swivel wheel, but I prefer it that way for stability. Again, I'm not a runner, so this is perfect for what we need it for which is walking briskly. The extra weight gives us a little better upper body workout when traveling up hills. Every other regular stroller we've had made it difficult to travel distances. I found myself hunched over with the others. This is really a great stroller and I would definitely recommend it to a friend.
We wanted a jogging stroller with bike wheels because in the city here the sidewalks are very uneven and our regular stroller was difficult to navigate with the bumps and cracks. This stroller, however, is not a walking stroller at all, it is strictly for jogging use as the front wheel is stationary and does not give you a swivel option making it difficult to turn. Though it was very nicely constructed and looked good it did not serve our needs. I would only recommend it as a dedicated jogging stroller, not for any other use.
I purchased this jogging stroller as a baby shower gift for my best friend. This is the 3rd jogging stroller I have purchased for the same reasons in the past 4 years. I decided to choose this Jeep jogging stroller because it had a pivoting front wheel, as well as Jeep seems to stand behind their product. I have been told from other jeep and another brand that they were hard to maneuver without the pivoting option. I also chose walmart as my destination because they seemed to have the best price. I am not ashamed to say that I usually prefer other retailers and this was the first time I have actually used walmart for anything other than tolietries. I was very pleased with price, communication on product as well as its whereabouts and its timely delivery. I most definitely keep walmart in mind for my next purchase!
