I bought this shirt to see how I would like it. I wear 2XLT in most shirts. However, I need to order 3XLT in heavy weight tee's (long or short sleeved) when ordering colors. White short sleeves tees are a perfect fit! White long sleeved tees are better in 3XLT. You can see how I might get confused when ordering my best size. So when I purchased this “Grey” long sleeved tee, I ordered a 3XLT, expecting a similar fit to the heavy weight tee... It turns out that I need a 2XLT. Besides some confusion as to which size to order, I really like these and the heavyweight shirts... I will try to return this one in exchange for a better fit, then I will most likely order more....
I bought these tees recently to wear while riding my motorcycle here in Florida. As you may be aware, we've experienced may days of 95 plus degree temperatures. The long sleeves keep the sun off my arms and it seems like a cooler ride. I also bought a couple for the wife since there wasn't a female version of the shirt. I highly recommend the shirt.
Bought this for outside work. Light enough and better thickness.
My father recently had a heart attack and loves the way this shirt fits him during his therapy sessions . So I ordered him 4 more . Thank you for making him feel comfortable during his treatments.
Sturdy, Strong and Fit is Perfect. Much better than so many other brands.
Purchased the long sleeve Temp IQ shirt for sun protection working outdoors and because I thought it would be COOL in summer heat. The shirt is well made, all seams properly stitched, and durable (as all Dickies products). However, this product is not "seat-wicking" light a golf shirt. The shirt absorbs sweat and weighs heavily after a short period; but still excellent protection from the sun.
The shirt (as all Dickies clothing) is well made and True to Size. I wanted the long sleeves for sun protection working outside. The "Cooling" enticed me to purchase. This is not "sweat wicking" like a golf shirt. This shirt holds the sweat and weighs you down with the weight on the sweat. The shirt also shrunk a little in washing; but still fits to size.. It is however, good protection from the sun.
I bought 4 of these shirts, all L in white, and while they are fine for day to day wear, they are not what I was hoping for., for sustained outdoors work or play! I own 7 of the previous style, all polyester long sleeve performance Tees and I LOVE THEM! I live in SW FL( days in the 90's & 80% humidity) and I use those for fishing and yard work, and while you'll sweat in them, they dry almost immediately from a breeze or once inside in the A/C. Not so for these 50/50 cotton/poly tees! That cotton just doesn't let the moisture go, and with the humidity there's never a chance for it to dry or cool. PLEASE! Bring back the old style... and in some light colors... tan and light greens and blues! I LIVE in Dickies! Shirts, shorts, socks and pants and I'm happy with all, but I would love to see the old style, all polyester Long Sleeve Performance Tees come back!
I'm sending this back. Adults need cuffs to keep sleeves from covering their hands. And the fit is super boxy and not long enough for a “long T”. Also the quality from Dickies has gone way down last 10-20 years. Disappointed.
I usually wear XL but this shirt isSO big. I probably need a M or even S. But now it's a guessing game about my size. It reminds me not to buy clothes on-line. The bag that it came in was destroyed during opening Waiting to find a box or something to send it back. All the other purchases were fine because I've bought before and I know my size.
