I love all of of his hair care products and this one is definitely my decond favorite product. I love how it temoves the brassiness in your hair! His brightner cream is my absolute favorite! It brightens your hair up by enhancing bright blonde loveliness. Love both products because they actually work.
I usually buy a toning shampoo at sallys beauty but I've been wanting to try this for so long and it was so hard to find ...they were always out....I guess that means it works which made me want it more then my husband found one so I tried it and it was amazing the first time I didn't noticed anything until the fifth day I saw a pic of a night out five days ago.. and my hair went from sand to almost platinumish ..so I love it I guess if you don't want to be so blonde you can use it less but I love my platinum hair also my daughter uses it and she's a brunette her hair has more rich espresso color thanks John Frieda
This shampoo/conditioner set really is amazing and I'm so glad that I did my research and decided to purchase it! My newly blonde hair came out with what I considered to be a golden yellow tone and I was fairly regretful about my decision to bleach my hair and even embarrassed about the way it looked. I tried this shampoo and conditioner and it completely toned down the yellow look that I disliked and I saw results after just one use!! In fact, each time I use it, I am more and more pleased with the results, as well as my color, and I could not be more pleased! Thank you , John Frieda.......you truly saved my hair!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Approximately 6 months ago, I decided I wanted to make a drastic change - I wanted to make my almost-black hair blonde! And as most of you know, when lifting very dark hair color, the results can often be 'brassy' (yellow/orange). John Frieda Color Renew is fabulous at toning down the brassiness from highlighting/bleaching. (I saw results after 3-4 shampoos.) Now, every time my highlights are touched up, I will shampoo a few times with Color Renew. I also periodically use Color Renew shampoo to brighten my locks! Highly recommend Color Renew for ALL blondes - natural or not!
It keeps my color exactly the as the day as I like it until I my roots grow in. I love it. It's my ONE thing I would not part with.
I just bought this shampoo along with the conditioner and I used it only once and I can immediately tell a difference in my hair! I recently got a bayalage done (I have dark brown hair and got the blonde put in) and was told to get a purple shampooo. I had purple shampoo by joico I used but I didn't like it bc it weighed my hair down and I didn't see much of a difference in the color of my blonde. I used this john Frieda kind and wow my blonde looks so much more refreshed and bright AND my hair is NOT weighed down!!!!!! Such a great product for the price!!! Definitely recommending to friends and will buy again!

Along with other John Frieda products (to help keep my hair blond, give myself highlights. For the last two years I have been using this product to keep my hair from becoming brassy and yellow looking. I've never had so many compliments on my hair in my life!! People keep asking me where I get my hair done.. and I just tell them: John Frieda does my hair!! :) I love my hair, it's got white blond bits, ash blond parts, and darker blond towards the roots. The color renew tone correcting shampoo and conditioner is a miracle worker and makes my hair smell awesome too!
Bought this yesterday love this made my blonde hair, more vibrant! Also made it a lot easier shiny to style!!! I'm so glad I got this!
I love this purple shampoo. It gets rid of the yellow and brightens my highlights with out stripping my hair like others I have tried. I used to use Aussie Impressions many years ago, which I loved, but they quit making it. Please keep making this!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started using Sheer Blonde color renew tone correcting shampoo when I was returning to my natural blonde shade after experimenting with red. It took the warm brassiness out of my transitioning color and helped with the damage from the hair dye. My hair looked noticeably better after every use.
