I'm not a fan of the biscuits, but the gravy is a hit! I wish Jimmy Dean would sell the gravy in cans. I still gave this a 4.5-star (5-star) review, because the overall flavor is great and it does fill you up!
Bought these for a quick breakfast for the kids. Tried this morning and loved the flavor. Gravy is thick and rich with a spicy note and lots of sausage, definitely the best part. Biscuits are dense. I are half and was full, big portion.
Bought this for my 30 yr old autistic son who is very serious when it comes to what he will eat. He loved it but now it seems Walmart hasn't gotten them back in stock, or someone keeps buying all of them.
These are delicious. Nice easy meal, especially for the kids in the summer. Stays in the fridge. Pour gravy on top and heat for about 1 1/2 minutes.
My wife and I had these for breakfast this morning. Cooking time of 1 minute is plenty. The biscuits were lots better than I expected! There needs to be about 50% more gravy in our opinion. I will be buying more if Walmart keeps them in stock.
Ick, best word I can use to describe this. Sauce was like tasteless glue with very few tiny bits of flavorless sausage. Tough lumps of dough like dog biscuits, also flavorless. I expected much more from Jimmy Dean - stick with their other biscuit/sausage breakfast.
Like others said, the gravy is good, however the biscuits were heavy and doughy like. I ate one and about half another and just couldn't eat anymore.
I was very disappointed on this product. I love the sausage and gravy breakfast bowls and thought these would ne as wook or better because they were not frozen, but I was wrong. The four biscuits were tough and there was not near enough of the tasteless gravy glue to cover the biscuits, even when warmed. I am reverting back to my old favorite the breakfast bowls because they have plenty of gravy and the biscuits are soft.
biscuts were tough and taseless. The gravy was exactly as someone else described it..thick glue. i tried adding a bit of water, only made it more yucky! You need to try out your product before releasing it on unsuspecting consumers!
It doesn't even taste like biscuit %26 gravy and usually Jimmy Dean has good frozen breakfast foods. DON'T PURCHASE!
