These earbuds were sent to me as a replacement for the Fit Sport 2 (I believe) that stopped working within a couple months of purchase. The earlier version, along with other brands of earbuds I've tried in the past (some bluetooth, some not), have been so frustrating: I have very small ears, and earbuds never stay in my ears. Those Apple earphones? Forget about it. I require the wrap-around structures to keep earbuds in my ears, and even still, I've found it a struggle to keep them from falling out. The microphone/control always seems to weigh the earbuds down, especially while running or doing other athletics (which is why I USE the earbuds to begin with), and I've never found a pair I've been truly happy with. UNTIL NOW! These earbuds are seriously revolutionary. I'm not sure how this new design works, exactly, but for the first time, the earbuds stay in my ear without constant readjustment. The sound quality is just good and everything else seems to be working well, but I'm just so excited by the fact that these are comfortable and they stay securely in place. I highly recommend-- these are my new earbuds of choice.
I came here to get the word out... these have some serious bass, just on the normal eq even. Have barely tried other settings as normal is good enough for me. Great sound throughout the whole spectrum too. Have no worries about longevity as i purchased the 6.99 protection plan from office max when purchased. Thanks Jlab!!
Great earbuds! As an active individual, JLAB makes excellent earbuds to accompany my exercise music needs! The sound quality and design are excellent! I would recommend them for the gym or just for any day to day use.
I received these for Christmas, and they're still kickin' four months later. These are my first wireless earbuds, and I can say that they're much better than my wired Sony's (great, but lasted less than a year) and my Apple EarPods (the sound is too muddy). As a jamband fan, I was looking for something with clean mids, powerful treble, and punchy bass, and these are great (I use the balanced mix). The wireless feature is great as far as convenience goes. I wish the battery life was longer, but with the long hours that I use these, it might be worth buying another model with increased battery life. As a migraine sufferer, the only thing I dislike is the blinking blue light on the control panel, as it can sometimes be a trigger, but this can be worked around by wiring the earbuds around the back of your neck.
I love the form factor of these headphones, but right now as I type this, they gave up in the middle of a work call and dumped me back to speaker audio. The headphones are still powered on, but can't be connected to on various devices. I've spent the past 45 minutes trying to locate a keypress combo that will let me hard reset, since the power button is now totally unresponsive. No dice. These headphones have NEVER been wet, not once. Indoor stationary use only. I'm left with no choice but to try and return them to get another pair. And then I come here and see all the people having the same issue. Very non-plussed about my purchase.
After buying there were no issues. I normally charge headphones before using them if they are wireless. So far they don't hold a charge and when it reaches 50% battery life it will claim it's at low battery and continue that message for five minutes and then would disconnect.
Horrible. I bought these because I thought they would be durable, seeing as they're SUPPOSED to be sport graded, waterproof, sweat proof, whatever. Just the other day, they would shut off unexpectedly WITH FULL BATTERY! I try to reconnect the Bluetooth and they would come back for a moments time and then would shut off again. Put them away for the day. Now I try them out and they wouldn't even turn on!!! They won't charge at all! Nothing!!! These aren't old earbuds either these are maybe months old! I probably bought them last Nov or so. Stay away from these! God. I just want a pair of sports graded earbuds, headphones, whatever, that will last longer than a few months. I've been through 3 of these in the past 3 years. Come on!
Bought these a couple months ago, and they worked fine up until yesterday. They completely died in the middle of a workout. Won't power on and won't charge. Unfortunately this seems to be a common issue with a lot of customers other than me. You would think the company would have a total recall on this product and try to fix the issue - due to such a common occurrence of faulty headphones. Unfortunately that hasn't been the case and people still buy this product. If you are wanting headphones that last more than a month or two, I would look towards companies other than Jlab.
Bought these to replace my Jlab Sport 2 wired which I love. The sound quality of the wire buds is so far superior than the Sport 3 buds ... they sound muffled and muddy in comarison. 2 weeks after I bought the Bluetooth buds they began cutting in and out while in use (checked the phone on an different bluetooth device). They are going back ....
This is the second pair I've bought and 40 days later (Just after the 30-day guarantee, how convenient) they have broken in the exact same way. The left speaker just stopped working. It's been several days and it has not resumed function. And it's such a shame because aside from this these are real good earbuds.
