Great for running, long-lasting battery

I got these about 2 weeks ago and have been using them for running just about every day. I got them because I had broken 3 pairs of headphones (2 apple cord pairs), I think because they got so sweaty when I ran. I've worn the Epic Sport2 headphones on some sweaty 6-12 mile runs in 80-85 degree heat, and they're holding up so far. The battery lasts a long time. I've used them for at least 10 hours, and they're still at medium battery. The first time I plugged them in it seemed like the cable wouldn't fit in enough to charge, but I was able to get it to work the second time. The charging plug might just be a bit tight when you first use it. The bluetooth connection has been perfect, very easy to pair to my phone and computer. My only complaint is that the sound sometimes sounds like it's underwater or a bit muffled. I'm not really worried about sound quality so it's not a big issue for me, but I wonder if there's some kind of noise cancelling feature that I could turn off.

Got these because I've had J Lab ear buds before. I needed some for running that wouldn't fall out. These are brilliant didn't budge. Sound great and the battery life is phenomenal. The pricing is also amazing. As I said the clue is in the name, Epic, Indeed.

I bought the Epic2Wireless Sport Earbuds (cost me $45 on sale at JLab online) shortly after buying a Sony WI-C310 (cost me $20 on sale at Best Buy online). The Epic2 is user friendly in multiple ways. 1) The length of the wire that joins both earbuds behind the neck is correct for me. 2) The wire going over each ear is easy to adjust to get the perfect fit. 3) The indicator light, blue/red to show connected/power off plus audio cues that say the same are great features. 4) the buttons to change volume and power is raised enough that I can touch and figure out which button is which without removing from the head and looking at it. So yes I am very happy. I walk real fast and it stays on comfortably. I bought the Epic2 after reading its features and it is as promised. I don't know enough before buying the Sony WIC310 which had none of these features and kept falling out of my ears, the wire was too long. I wanted to return it but I had already used it. So kept it as a back up.

Great for outdoors exercise

I bought these to replace a pair of FitSport 3's that died. The Epic Sport2's are bulkier than the FitSport 3s, but I only notice it when I am putting them on or adjusting their position. Once they are on, they feel the same. Due to my small ear canals, I use the smallest tips, but like all earbuds I've ever owned, a snug, comfortable fit isn't possible. That said, I run 6-10 miles with these and they stay in place only needing adjustments once or twice per run. The wire around the ear works quite well to hold them in place even during fast runs down hills. The control box takes a bit of getting used to as the buttons all feel the same, so you have to find the "up" end and move down to the button you want. The microphone is on the control box, so if you clip the wire taut to keep it from bouncing, the mic can end up around the back of your neck/head and the mic won't pick up your voice effectively. You can set up for no bouncing box (listening only) or dangling box (calls), but I haven't found a way to do both. I suppose it only matters if you want to take calls without interrupting your run. They don't block outside sound much at all, which is good for running safety, but not so good if you want to use them in a noisy environment. My only other negative is again true of all earbuds. If you sweat alot, eventually, the sweat will get into the tip and cause a popping noise as the earbud shifts in your ear with each step. I just use my shirt to dry out my ear canal and the tip when this happens. Overall, they are much better than the FitSport 3s, especially the batter life. I would buy them again and recommend them to friends.

Great fit, Lots of adjustments

Reviewed in the USA on 2021-11-01T17:00:00

These earbuds are very good at a very accessible price. They come with a bunch of parts to adjust the fit, several tips for the ear canal and several rubber pieces that fit in the inner part of the ear. They can be quite painful if you choose the wrong size, but once you find the right fit, not only are they comfortable, but they will also glue to your head and isolate you from almost all noise. They sound very good, with good level of detail and certainly better than other headsets in the same price point. Sometimes the bass sacrifices the mids, but nothing that takes the joy. (This behavior can be observed when listening to a bass line like Jackson 5's Blame it on the Boogie or during the heavier heavy metal drum sets like Angra - Rebirth) You can, however, adjust the EQ between 3 separate settings which clear out some of the bass and free the mids beautifully. Just couldn't find a way for it to sound uniform across lines. Another issue i have is with the microphone. The cable is short, and taking a phone call wiht the mic behind you is impossible. Flipping the cable also doesn't work. I have to remove the right ear to get the mic near my mouth.

good sound but uncomfortable

I love the sound quality and how the noise cancellation but after wearing them an hour they made my ears hurt. They also don't seem to charge well. I have had the headphones on the charger for a whole day and the light is blue but when i turn them on it says battery medium.

I hear them, they can't hear me

This is my 2nd pair of these earbuds and both have had the same issue after about 3 months. I hear my music well and I hear callers, but they can't hear me well at all. They say they hear every 2nd or 3rd word. So disappointing because I like the earbuds - very comfortable, they stay on well and the sound is good.

Awful Earhook Headphones

Reviewed in the USA on 2022-08-03T17:00:00

I Love JLab headphones & exclusively use the true wireless headphones for running. Bought two of these b/c they were half off. When I started using them I saw why. The earhook plastic does not stay in place at all. I would rather have a rigid ear hook that is not able to be adjusted because then they will always stay in place. There is no benefit to buying these over a true wireless headphone set.

Incredibly Disappointing Product!

All i wanted was a reliable set of waterproof earbuds for running. Bought these(Epic Sport2s) a year and half ago and i'm now on my 5th pair...after multiple warranty returns. Guess what? The 5th pair stopped working this week. Either one earbud(left or right) or both have stopped working with every single pair i've owned. Just a terrible product!! Do better JLab...good riddance!!!!!
