The JLab Audio Talk USB Microphone with USB-C Output is surpassing all of my expectations. This microphone is compatible with Windows and the Mac Operating System. Included in the box is a 6.5 foot USB-USB-C input cable that plugs directly into your mic and pc and allows you to operate your recording hassle free. The plug and play feature allows you to literally begin recording in seconds. This JLAB product offers professional grade recording with the TALK feature that ensures that the recording is detailed and clear. This microphone features 4 directional pattern modes. 1. Cardioid for calls, gaming, streaming and podcasting. 2. Omni for business calls, group streaming and group recording. 3.Stereo for music recording. 4. Biodirectional for 2 person interviews or duet music recording. This has to be my personal favorite as it allows me to record my podcasts without any sound issues. I personally use my microphone with the Windows 10 and I haven't had any issues at all. Set up was quick and easy as the instructions were clear and straight forward. There is also a quick mute option that I use often and there are volume and gain control options. I am in awe of how great this product is and I definitely recommend purchasing!

This is a great USB microphone. It's super easy to use with a simple set up. You simply plug the USB into your computer or device you may be using and other side into the microphone. The sound quality comes out with high quality; very nice, crisp and clear. You can even hear very low sound you may be trying to record out background noise. I really enjoy the nice sleek design which gives it a very sophisticated look.
I absolutely love this microphone. I'm in graduate school and have been using my laptop to attend my classes via Zoom. This microphone makes it easier for me to speak to my classmates and professor. I love the size of the microphone, it's not really big, but it's also just big enough to where it doesn't get in the way.
The microphone was very easy to setup. I simply plugged it in, started a zoom meeting and everything worked. The design is very nice, and is small enough that having it close to my face while on a video call is not distracting. I did find that the volume/gain settings didn't affect much. Sound quality was exceptional compared to the internal mic on my laptop, or using the mic in my Bluetooth earbuds. I wanted to test the volume/gain control some in a training video I did. I was able to filter out mouse and keyboard clicks, and the overall quality and range of my voice was excellent. The audio connection on the bottom didn't like a standard straight cable, but I had a 90 degree one that fit great. I just wanted to see if I noticed a difference in quality using that connection. I didn't experience any difference in quality with the usb connection and the discreet audio connection.
I got this USB microphone for my son who is taking film classes in college. I have no idea what it's for but he was excited! He does podcasts for school and on the air so he was so happy to try this microphone out. He loves it. It's got a long enough USB cord so you don't have to have the microphone right up on the computer. The stand is tall enough to sit comfortably without bending over. The recording is very clear as if you're sitting right beside him. He says the output is fantastic. There's no lag time when recording and there's a quick mute button that's easy to get to. He's so impressed by this microphone, that he's starting a music recording class in January with this very microphone!
I like this microphone. It's very cute and stylish. The sound quality is decent for the price. It can be used in many ways like making phone calls or podcasts. I'm not tech savvy but this device was very easy to set up. It's very small so it's easy to store it. The device is durable. I was disappointed in the customer service. They couldn't tell me anything. I am happy with it overall.
It's great. It has 4 control settings. The front,record all surroundings, record left and right channel,or record just front and back. I keep getting the mute and volume confused...the bigger control button is the mute on or off and record switch. The smaller one is to switch the volume or gain. You can use an 3.5mm aux output. I finally just got my computer and have been using this for the last couple of weeks. The quality is excellent. If this one messes up I plan on buying the same one.
This microphone is great for gaming/voice overs! I've also used it for video calls through the computer. It has great sound quality and is very sleek looking. I only wish it was a bit more compact/smaller. I don't know that I would use it for anything professional, but it is great for personal use. Other than that, I love it !
So my husband and I were trying to setup the mic to see how it works. It was really a struggle trying to get our computer (Windows 10) to even recognize the mic. Finally, we got it done but then struggled with using it for a program he has for music. After he figured it out a couple hours later, the sound from the mic was clear but had very loud feedback and echo. I give it a 3.5/5 Pros: sleek, attractive design, easy to store Cons: difficult to set-up, using the mic requires more care and attention than I believe is necessary It is possible we just need more time to work with it, but upon setup, it proved to be subpar. I would still recommend it though, for someone who has more experience and knows exactly what is needed to be done to adjust the sound quality to perfection. I want to be able to eventually use it for podcasting and recording so hopefully, we find tips online to help better make it work for us.
