The bike was a perfect size for a young Grandson. It had the training wheels required and the protector pad on the handlebar's crossmember to protect my Grandson. It is also beautifully colored in a JD package! It was easy for mom and dad to assemble and he loves it!
Bought this for my son in his 4th birthday and he loves it. Assembly was easy although be careful because the paint will scratch and come off if you aren't careful. Its got the great John-Deere look my son loves. All in all, it was a great purchase.
Great Birthday gift for our 2-yr old grandson
We just got this bike for my 3 yo so he is just learning how to use it. It fits him well. He is just learning. My only complaint is Walmart did not assemble it like the website said they would.

I purchased this bike for my three year old grandson. It didn't take long to assemble; all the parts were right where they should be. The smile on my grandson's face when he saw the bike is priceless.
Bike is nice but assembly was a pain due too welding at the manufacturer was poor. Rails didn't line up correctly for the front rim to seat in place. I had to bend them a little bit then force the tire in place. Other than that it was a good looking bike.
The bike is super cute, but is advertised completely wrong… It got great reviews online ,and wasn't available in store, so we went ahead and purchased it for our 3year olds birthday… took it away on our vacation to surprise him with it… My husband assembled it and immediately we knew it wasn't going to work. The bike weights at least 25lbs its so heavy to pick up and the peddles are very very hard to push. Our poor son was so disappointed that he couldn't ride his new big boy bike. Its going back the minute we get home. Very disappointed
We haven't even had the bike a full year. It wasn't used much because we bought it the fall and couldn't use it until this summerThe left peddle falls off while riding. There is no fixing.
I have ordered 2 of the bikes on line and both arrived with paint scratches and dents even though they are packaged meticulously. I returned both to the local Walmart. This is unusual as I have ordered a number of the John Deere products in the past and they have always been in good condition. I don't know if there is a new manufacturer of the product.
