[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Brilliant Brunette Glosser is great for giving dull hair that extra shine! I have been using it for several years and get some wonderful compiments on my hair. I absolutely love it and will continue using it. Great product!
I used to use this product to put my hair into a pony tail instead of using gel, and stopped using b/c I now have layers and a pony tail is impossible. I found an old bottle and tried it one day...it's amazing. I can leave my hair unstyled and this product keeps my hair manageable and soft, or I can pair it with mousse to add shine and softness to my curls. This product absolutely does not make your hair oily. In fact, I personally prefer this product over frizz ease.

I am African American and I chemically straighten my hair and as a result my hair tends to be very dry & dull along with split ends. I re-evaluated how I was caring for my hair, eliminating the flat iron, eating healthier and using products that help to maintain moisure and add keratin back to my hair. But my hair still seemed to be very dull. So I incorporated the Shine Shock glosser into my hair regimen and my hair softer and much shinier with split ends are nearly non-existent. I've actually done away with a of my other products incorporating other John Freida products and my hair is doing so well.
This Shine Shock product does what it actually says it will do. I love the scent & the fact that it leaves my hair feeling shiny & bouncy. It never feels weighed down or oily. I just use a very small amount, so a little goes a long way.
Love this product my long dark hair gets dried out with sun and the shine comes back with this product.
I've been using this product for almost 10 years, and I've tried other options when I couldn't find it. But nothing works the same. It's become harder and harder to find, and now today I discovered that no store carries it anymore. You can only purchase it online!! Please bring it back!
I've used Shine Shock for a few years now, I simply CANNOT live without this magical product! I'm having a hard time finding it in stores lately, so I'm starting to panic that it may be discontinued...please say that isn't so! I have literally tried hundreds of "shine" products and Shine Shock comes in first place, hands down. I've used every serum, spray & creme under the sun and NOTHING works as well as Shine Shock to separate and add incredible shine to my long, very thick, coarse, natural curls. Shine Shock keeps my tresses under control and beautiful, the way curls should be! Please, please, please don't discontinue this lifesaver, as I've never seen ANY other product come even close to Shine Shock!

Hi, I purchased the product, hoping not expecting anything really...and was truely surprised. The hair shines and is very healthy looking. Considering my age and the fact that the hair is colored, it is a real miracle the way the hair looks. So, happy and very ready to push this product Brillant Brunette to everyone. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well honestly, if you don't know how to apply it, it won't work for you. It works best with wet hair, and a little goes along way. It was a little pricey, and the tube was kind of small, but the shine was pretty good. It doesn't give any extra drop-dead gloss, or leaves your hair perfect, but when applied correctly you'll get good or more or less: "average" results. It honestly doesn't last much unless you're going to be at a formal dinner sitting for 3 hours eating. My hair is usually a messy style. I like it though..don't love it, don't recommend it. I just would buy something cheaper next time. I'll stick to their amazing shampoo and conditioner.
