I love this shampoo, it smells like swedish fish and cinnamon (to me anyway) and it makes my dyed red hair shine beautifully. You don't need that much of it, just put a quarter size amount in damp hair, wet hair a little bit more and lather up. It works great on red hair! I love it, but I'm so bummed that no one sells it in store anymore. I'll keep buying it online though!
love this shampoo (and conditioner) they smell lovely and i feel like they help make my natural red undertones stand out a bit more. A little goes a long way, and even though the tubes seem a bit small, one tube lasts at least a month or two for me, and i have VERY long hair.a quarter-sized dollop is usually more than enough as the shampoo lathers really well. I think it used to be a little less expensive but now it is closer to walgreen's prices. Still, I'm glad that walmart at least carries it online, it's been so hard to find in stores anymore :<
I started using this shampoo when I had red hair as in cherry red hair and it never faded my color like other shampoo's. I even have the more expensive Biomatrix color treated shampoo and it doesnt hold up to this little shampoo. I now have bright pink hair and still continue to use this shampoo and it works great! the shampoo is already a tinted red hue so its like adding color with your wash,the conditioner works the same way as well. But also as always with color treated hair, never wash it with really warm to hot water. Hot water strips color no matter what awesome shampoo you use, stay in the lightly warm to the coldest you can stand temp water. for all you red to pink hair ladies, this shampoo is a must!
A few years ago I took a chance and tried your Radiant Red Shampoo and Conditioner because my naturally red hair seemed to be fading and the color just looked dull. I noticed a difference fairly soon after I started using it. My hair's shine was more noticeable again, and the color started looking more vibrant. I love the way your product lathers well and rinses easily. Plus, it leaves my hair smelling nice. The only complaint I have, and this is not your company's fault, is that I often have a hard time finding Radiant Red in the stores near me. They carry John Freida products for blondes and brunettes, but seldom have them for redheads. I have been known to hoard bottles of Radiant Red when I do find them, so that I don't run out.
The Radiant Red shampoo creates luxurious, thick, bubbles that rinse away easily and leave my hair and scalp clean without over-cleaning; clean but not so squeaky clean that my hair seems dried out. My red color treatment seems to stay brighter until it's time to color my gray roots. Lots of shine and volume help to hide those roots longer between touch-ups, too.
I have dyed auburn hair and find that the colour fades quite quickly to a pale copper shade. I do like the colour change however, I find it lacks shine. I tried this shampoo hoping it would perk up my colour and also condition my hair well in between dying. The shampoo is a bright red colour gel which I was a little anxious about putting it in my hair as I didn't want red hair however, I shouldn't have worried as the result showed that my hair colour had brightened but not changed colour. The shampoo lathered up well and it left my hair feeling really soft with a fantastic shine. I used it in conjunction with the conditioner. I will be purchasing this shampoo again. My fiancé bought this after I dyed my hair, not knowing it didn't deposit color, but I decided to use it anyway. My color has held up pretty well, but I also only wash it every 3 days in cold water. Your hair is going to "bleed" red for weeks after dying regardless. I just prefer a color depositing shampoo I suppose. Good product, just not for me!
I am a redhead and I use this shampoo and the conditioner every time I wash my hair. I have been using John Frieda for many years. Wal-Mart has good prices so I chose to order on line. It has begun to be difficult to get it in the stores. Thank you for carrying these products for redheads - they are few of them out there.
Very U happy with product ... it's suppose to help me keep the "Red" looking vibrant .. instead the first time I use it on my hair it strip the Red Out!!! I was so upset I had just died my hair about a 1 week befor I bought this shampoo & conditoner !! Can I Return items ?
