I can't tell you what the original soundtrack sounded like back in 1980, but this sounds awesome. The gatefold quality is very good and the original booklet attached inside is reproduced here as well. The "gold" colour is where I would want to take 1 star off, but can't simply because I'm so impressed that the "makers" here seemed to care to actually give us something, and not just another re-release. The gold is not really gold. I have numerous "coloured" albums from over the years. i do have a "shiny gold" album from another company, like it is pictured here, whereas this release is a flat matte yellow-ey colour resembling gold. You can even see what appears to be where the colour was injected into the mold on record 1. But it won't matter. I didn't care once I has it spinning, it was just enough to notice as I placed it on the platter to get going!
