I cannot say enough good things about this scrub! I've been really broken out all winter and nothing worked for me, until Saturday, when I picked up this stuff. I was drawn to it because of the Aloe and Avacado, which are both great for skin. It feels really fresh when you use it, and it doesn't over dry skin or leave an oily residue like some other products. In 5 days my skin wen't from red and covered to so clear I don't even feel the need to wear makeup! I have never had any cleanser or scrub work this well! I pair it with Clean and Clear's Dual Action Moisturizer to keep my winter skin from drying out, and to add another layer of protection against acne. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this stuff!
The minute I started to use this I noticed the difference in my skin. I now have both of my daughters using this as well, the only problem I'm having is the fact that I can no longer find it anywhere in stores. I just had to give in and purchase it online because I'm just about to finish the last one I have. I don't see that this item has been recalled so why is it that I'm unable to find this product in stores anymore? I've even gone out of town and tried to see if it's just my area and was unsuccessful.
I have combination-oily skin and I usually have problems with acne. I haven't found a holy grail product for my skin type, but I think this is pretty close! Usually, acne products dry my skin out and make me more oily (however, they do control my acne). On the other hand, this product works perfectly! It isn't too harsh on my skin and it also effectively minimizes acne whilst also moisturizing. It might not immediately zap the acne, but it does work really well. It also smells pretty good. I'm happy with this product! Try it out.
I use this scrub every 3 days to exfoliate and refresh my skin. It is so soft and gentle on my face even with the small scrubbing beads. It is great for treating acne and cleaning the skin. It has aloe, avocado and jojoba in it, which are 3 natural ingredients great for using on the skin. All the morning burst scrubs have an ingredient called Sodium Laureth Sulfate, which according to acne.org "strips the skin, damaging its protective barrier, and introduces irritation." I also read on another site that if you have sensitive or are under 30 (idk why but that's what it said) then you shouldn't use it. So I really recommend this daily acne scrub over any other scrub from Clean & Clear.
I bought this product for my younger brother because I noticed his acne was as bad as mine when I was his age(could barely see your own face due to the acne). Within a week, I noticed his acne clear up very nicely. I also use this product here and there when I obtain a small pimple or want to clean my pores. They should print a better detailed direction on the back of the bottle though, instead of "apply to face, rinse, pad the area dry". I personally, wet face, apply treatment(leave on for 5-10minutes), rinse off(using hands), and very lightly pad dry.
This scrub is a great exfoliator that I use a couple of days a week. It's not too harsh and leaves my skin feeling clean and smooth. I love the light and fresh fragrance - not too overpowering!
This product is amazing ! I decided to try this face scrub & I wasn't disappointed. I have dry/oily skin... its weird & my skin is VERY sensitive. this product makes my skin so soft after I use it. If your skin gets really dry after a wash , this is the product for you. My acne was bad & this has really helped. The first day I used it , it worked. I was surprised especially since its not that much cost wise. I really recommend this product. Its worked wonders for me , & saved me money !
I bought this about a month ago because it was new and I just wanted to try something new on my face and see how it worked. I use this in the shower every day and it kinda makes my face itch until I wash it off. It doesn't really do anything for my acne, but it kind of just dries the bumps a little. It makes my face soft, though. It also makes it smooth. It smells good. But it doesn't help my bumps much. It also leaves this kind of thin oily layer after skin afterwards, but I guess it just helps to keep it moisturized.
I love the way this smells and feels, however, I wonder about the exfoliating beads. Are they plastic? Non-biodegradable beads wash down the drain and cause harm to fish and underwater ecosystems. As much as I like it, I can't continue to use this unless I'm sure it isn't harmful.
I use drug store beauty products and find them cheap and helpful, but this one is honestly a waste of money. First when you apply it, it feels like it is dissolving away on your skin before you can even spread it to the rest of your face. So you end up having to use like a handful of it all on your face. This is really annoying because you end up having to continuously get more product or spread it out more and causing more friction on your skin. Second, it does not feel refreshing afterwards. The fragrance is lacking. The beads also do not feel like they are having any effect and does not exfoliate so you're just scrubbing hard stuff on your face. Lastly, it doesn't even moisturize your face. I know this is gentle cleansing, but it honestly does no good. This product was rushed to deliver to the public and was not clearly thought out.
