My daughter falls asleep while getting a bath! And stays asleep even after she's done and i dress her for bed! She's 1 month, I've used aveeno and her bathing with that almost made her more awake! Shed be up for 2 hours after a bath using aveeno. Love this stuff!
Babysitting for my nephew, bathing time he was fussy not feeling well I had a migraine we survived the bathing , and he slept sound. The amazing thing was it took the edge of the migraine. Always knew lavender had properties that gave relief to migraines but wow!!! I bath with it....AWESOME
I used to use Johnson's Melt Away Stress lotion made for "adults". When it was discontinued I was upset until I tried this formula to see if it was similar. This one smells just the same and has the same soothing effect, but feels slightly more powdery on my skin once it dries. I work as a night shift nurse and sometimes have a hard time relaxing or sleeping during the day time. This lotion almost instantly soothes my sore tired feet after a long 12+ hour shift and helps me sleep soundly through the day. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone trying to relax before bedtime.
I love this product and the way it smells but lately when I wash my sons hair, I've notice that he coughs all night long. I'm going to have to find a product that agrees with him. The coughing occurs only the nights that his hair is washed.
Why did JnJ change this product! The scent is now strong like a cheap perfume. No lavender scent. More like citrus. The strong scent caused sneezing. We have not experienced this with the old formula. We won't purchase again until the scent is changed back to the original.
As many other reviews have indicated, this does NOT smell like lavender. It has a distinctly "perfume" scent instead of a natural scent. Also, I have to use a LOT more of this than I used to. Even if I use enough to get a TON of lather, her hair still doesn't feel or smell clean when it dries. After getting this shampoo I tried the Honey Apple Baby Lotion and it smells and works great. I will have to switch to the Honey Apple baby wash too. Disappointed I can't get something that smells lavender from Johnson's anymore.
I loved the scent of the naturalcalm lotion, however, I did a lot of research on J&J and will no longer use any of their products. They put so many harmful ingredients in this product (and many of their others) that I don`t even want to use this poison on myself, let alone my baby. They care more about profits than safety. It is sad that so many people choose to use these ingredients yet wonder why cancer is becoming so common. :(
I decided to try this as a part of my 2.5month old daughters nightly routine as night baths calm her down and I thought the lavender would aid the process. I used this product as directed and it caused a horrible rash on my baby's private area. The chemicals and perfumes in this product are not safe to use on my babys skin. I am extraordinarily disappointed with this product as I was looking forward to its use and now my sweet baby has a horrible rash.
I bought this product for my 3 year old daughter because she always complained about the other product hurting her eyes even though there tear free. So, with this one being as gentle as water i thought it would help but we used it last night and it seemed to be worse because she freaked out when i rinsed her hair.
Am a new mom very angry at j & j baby wash product my baby gets awful rashes after bath only to find out that they are putting harsh n dangerous chemicals that are bad for babies.does this company care the safety n health of our children.am going to throw away all products from j&j that I received from baby shower. I never want to see n come in contact with this nasty product. I wish I knew or someone had warned me. All moms stay away from this j &pjs product it hate to see my baby get unnecessary skin rash just because some big company does not care to get rid of bad chemicals in baby products.
